Las Llardas — Restaurant in Katy

I picked this place to celebrate my birthday because we love the food from here. But today my husband got a “huarache with red sauce” and we were very surprised how SPICY the sauce was. I told the waitress who was serving us, and she only said “wait a moment” she did not care about what I was saying at all. Then I told another lady, she said ok and bring the huarache with no sauce. But they did CHARGE ME FOR IT! What a disappointing customer service. If we are saying we are not able to eat it, why would they charge for it? The lady said “there’s rules I have to follow”. I thought the first tule at every restaurant is: TO KEEP CUSTOMERS HAPPY AND BE WILLING TO COME BACK”. So sad the young waitress has this bad attitude towards customers saying “I don’t want to fight today”. No one wanted to fight by the way, we just want Las llardas employees to treat...

This place is very disappointing we have been customers that come for a while and most of my family. on their menu it says breakfast is served till 11am with the exception of it being $2 extra if you get breakfast past 11am .my whole famously got from the breakfast menu knowing it would be an extra Two dollars for each plate. My daughter and niece orders pancakes and the lady had said no that they were not going to make them no reason at all we told her to bring the boss out we waiting for our food for almost an hour with us being the only people in the restaurant once our food got here the pancakes were not there they had never told us that they were not gonna make them or a reason why the boss never came to say anything instead the waiter which is the boss or manger wife we’re just kissing in the background ...

Great Mexican seafood restaurant. We weren't sure when we went, but glad we went in we had fish ceviche, camarones el diablo, pascadillas (seafood empanadas), and my 7 year old ate fried fish... What was great for her is the fish was lightly dusted, and not breaded. We look forward to going back soon.!

Update: 1/22/19 I was a little disappointed. I realized the restaurant is adding a 4% "service charge" to every order. So, while I was tipping 20-25%, I'm now going to be subtracting the 4% service charge. Its unforunate. On the detailed receipt, it says "SVC". That's it. Wait staf never mentioned it. Not sure who it goes to. The food remains great, I just dont like mandatory service charges - my wife, 7 yr old and me...not...
