First time coming here & it already makes me want to return soon!
Distance: It's the closest Pinoy resto/eatery to our place by Jersey Village.
Menu: Doesn't have an extensive food selection (they are adding more on the menu), rather they focus on classic & popular pinoy food. Wide range of very flavorful & interesting drink combinations though that would make you want to try them all.
Order: I dined in & had beef Mami pares, beef siomai, & avocado smoothie and the flavors took me back home! The pares was very tasty & has just the right amount of tender beef, while the beef siomai was paired well with garlic flakes & chili sauce dip, & the avocado smoothie didn't taste like a diabetes smoothie, just right. I would note that the food serving amount is Pinoy/asian style--just enough for 1 person, which I very much appreciate, unlike in other places where it's an American style serving amount & you can barely finish your plate & try other food on the menu. I just wish they had more sustainable food containers. Even when I dined in, all my food was in single-use plastic containers.
Cleanliness: The place was kept neat & clean, which is a big plus for me! No mess in the rest room & a helper would always come out to sweep the areas from time to time. They also sanitize the dining tables immediately after being used.
Customer experience: The owners are so personable!! Had a nice little banter with the husband & wife. Awesome...
Read moreI usually don't like to do review but I want the owner to know so next time they won't make the sane mistake. I came in Saturday to order chicken adobo to go and durian slushy. However I though they use fresh or at least frozen durian to make the slushy but I saw they put the last scoop of powder to make my slushy ,I didn't want to be rude but then when I drank some in the car it tast like ice with a little smell of durian ,no tast at all, I think the girl forgot to put in sweet syrup or something all I tast was frozen ice and also the chicken adobo was kind of blend. I'm a foody I know my food. How ever this review was not to be negative but just for the owner to be informed of what happened so next time it won't happen to the next...
Read morePicked up my order and everything was still warm. Got the beef bbq with yellow rice which was delish. The yellow rice was filling and the vinegar has just the right sourness. Beef mami pares could use seperate containers so the noodles wont get soggy. But taste good as well. My daughter finished all the cheestix. We enjoyed our uberload halohalo and bukoloco drinks afterwards. I wished this cafe was near our place cause we have to travel 45mins. I commend the owners for giving attention to details to every meal that they serve. Price point it was really affordable. If this cafe was near, this would be my go-to whenever i crave for...
