Lucas Bakery — Restaurant in Texas

The bakery seemed awesome at first, but I was not happy with the 50$ cake that I received. I had asked for half a sheet cake. Half vanilla and half chocolate so that my guest could choose their flavor. They asked what filling would I like for each side. They made one giant mix of vanilla and chocolate with the different fillings mix in. They also spelled my sons name wrong, even though I saw them write it down correctly. They spelled Jach instead of Jack. It’s not a hard name. I had explained to the baker that I was supply some of the decorations for the Pokémon cake and that I would like the pickachu that comes with the cake and when I picked it up, they would not honor it unless I paid an extra 8$ for part of the decorations. It looked like a hot mess when we cut into it. Birthdays are so important and it was just embarrassing to serve it. It didn’t taste great either. I went two weeks ago and there is a girl who is terrible at customer service, what a shame that a customer approaches her to ask something they don't know but want to try and she answers you "I don't know what filling the bread has, I have nothing to do with cooking and I don't make them" and then she continues to argue and tells you reluctantly that "the bread is supposed to be made of cheese" totally rude. That makes you never want to go back, the good thing is that what they sell is sold only because it is tasty. Sorry for the comment, but I had to say it because I would be embarrassed if she did that to the majority of NEW CUSTOMERS and that my family has been buying there for years, I have gone a few times, but other girls serve...

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Worst bakery the ruined my daughters Quinceañera cake completely. not only did they do a horrible job. I ordered this cake 3 weeks in advance and when I went to pick up the cake they didn't have it ready and once it was given to me the baker said that if it was for her they wouldn't had made that cake in was too complicated . I had called a month prior and specificity asked if they could make fondant cake and they said yes of course any cake you like. They didn't know how to make a fondant cake.
