I usually went to La Michoacana to get tacos. I usually ask for the Chicharron tacos. However in the location I am used to going to, they have two types of chicharron tacos. One has more tender, lean meat in it along with the fatty pieces, while the other seems to be strictly fatty pieces.This location is closer to my job so I wanted to stop and get the usual tacos I enjoy! This was my second time visiting, and the first time I asked for the Chicharron tacos and I received the type with the lean meat on it. That is OK since I didn't really ask for the different one. But today I visited again, and I asked if they had the more softer, strictly fatty chicharron. The man looked at me like I was confused??? Stupid?? Blinked a million times in the most horrifically offensive way possible as if I had said something to offend them, and just stared at me like I was an idiot. As I'm typing this I'm so upset. He stared at me coldly then didn't say a word in response? Easily the most abhorrent customer service I have ever experienced. Over what? A question? A harmless one? What on earth could have upset him about asking if they had a different type of meat? He didn't even try to understand what I was saying and I was communicating in Spanish. What's ironic is that I gave this same explanation to the other location and they immediately knew what I was referring to. But this dude just ruined my evening and made me feel incredibly stupid over asking this same question. This is the absolute worst way to address a customer and I will never be returning. Read moreI had the most terrible experience with Laura. I bought 3 items (4 bolillo breads, 1 carrot, and a celery stalk) that totaled less than $4. When I got home I realized I only brought home the bread. I went back and spoke to Laura who checked me out. She said someone must’ve taken the other 2 items since I left them behind and there was nothing she could do. The 2 items I left behind were less than $2. She insisted that it was my responsibility to take the items with me and it was my fault someone else took them since I left them. I asked to speak to a manager and she said there wasn’t one. I then asked her for the corporate number. She walks away to the back. I then see her walking towards the produce and she brings me the 2 items I had left. She tells me she will give them to me this time but next time I won’t be able to get my items. She kept going on about how it was my fault I didn’t take them home in the first place. Read moreStopped to get a couple tacos before work, THINKING this spot was good like the others michoacanas, but they were horrible. First of all the lady serving tacos wouldn't get off her phone to make the tacos, once she texted back and put the phone in her pocket she told me i have to pay up front for the tacos first. I had no problem paying for the food up front, however when i go back to order she wouldn't get off her phone and was asking me what i wanted without even listening. I had to repeat my order to her FOUR TIMES at least. AND I spoke to her in Spanish so that she would understand!! All the meat they sold for tacos were SUPER GREASY... I don't know why this spot in particular ALWAYS has bad food but they need to change it...I try giving them a chance every now and then but I'm ALWAYS disappointed.... also the ladies serving tacos need an attitude change.. it seems like they hate when ppl go in to order food and don't really like doing their job..
