Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Katy

Very good pizza. I'm a pizza expert, top 10 percent on google and worked in pizza business for 2.5 years, I love this location. I decided to do it differently this time because I'm old fashioned, I just walked in and ordered there, there was a great deal of a promotion displayed prominently out front 6.99 1 topping medium, and I got two. Like 15 dollars, fed the whole family with a little left over(my kids are young). Not disappointed in any aspect and I looked at everything. This location was clean, had sanitizer everywhere for public and worker use, the pizza came out fast, hot, not burnt at all, they got me some parmesan, it was great, everything was well done and nothing seemed like they could have done better. Very good sauce, high quality cheese, didn't seem in any way old(this is a thing in smaller pizza restaurants). This place was booming like crazy busy, but they weren't hiring, which sounds odd, but the people were all great and on task. Everyone was clean with their hands, even the cashier. I am actually impressed and would rate this place higher than 5 stars if I could. Come try it, maybe not the greatest pizza on Earth, but the best you can get in this price range, by far!! Forgo papa john's or cicis or domino's, they are the same price or more for less than half the quality. Again, can't recommend this place enough....

A friend and I walk in, some guy(Cody S.) with bad hair,goatee,glasses and a bad attitude, didn't greet us, & was very unpleasant when I asked about any specials. He said our specials are always the same , I'm like how would I know that this is my 1st time here? Anyway we order a pizza and a sub sandwich, there wasn't a big line yet I was the last to get my order even though I was there before a lot of customers,(online orders maybe?) plus my order wasn't big, anyway I ask him is the pizza cheesy (bc if not I was going to pay for extra.)he proceeded with the dry sarcasm saying it's just as cheesy as any other pizza. Really? I asked how old was he bc I was getting eratated, he said 31, so I said I'm a lot older than u ,so show some respect. Anyway I won't be going back to this location bc this guy was so rude. Oh pizza n sub were good,but it was along wait...

I called in my order for pickup, and the girl on the phone was very unprofessional and a bit immature. I asked if they had any specials, she said no, but I inquired again, confused because they always have specials. She laughed and was reminded in the background about a medium one topping special among about five more specials. Then she got my name laughing that she couldn't spell it, then I had to ask her what my total was before she tried to just hang up. She tells me my total was $14. I reminded her about the special.. then she figured my total again, telling me it's $8.maybe it was her first job and she just started idk but the pizza tasted great. Customer service was not quality even when I picked up and went in, I wasn't greated, there was loud music, no customers, and I didn't...
