Gina's Anykine Grinds Cafe — Restaurant in Kauai

We tried three burger joints in Kauai and this one was the best hands down. I got the regular hamburger (with lettuce, tomato and onion) and my husband got the lava burger. I don’t know what was in those burgers but MAN... it was delicious...so flavorful! My husband could barely finished the GINORMOUS lava burger. But he was intent on getting every last incredible bite in. (He did say he wished he would have gotten lettuce and tomato on it though. Oh, and the cheese on top is American, cheddar would have made it 👌... but again the meat itself was soooo good, it didn’t matter too much). We also got a side of waffle fries, onion rings, and the pumpkin crunch but we couldnt finish these bc our hamburger fully satisfied us both. The pumpkin crunch is like wwwwwway better/upgraded version of pumpkin pie. We had to save most of it for later bc we were stuffed. But even better than the food was the customer service! The lady at the register was so welcoming, joyful, and a perfect mix of aware but...

This was the least expensive meal we had in Kaua'i and it was fantastic! Very little seating outside cafe, plan to eat on the curb or elsewhere.

We were on our way to Waimea Canyon and need to have a meal to avoid stomach upset for the winding road up. Every place we tried had a 45-60 min wait (and some jerks for parking). I recalled a recommendation for a good meal here and we dropped in. Lovely helpful staff who helped us get good meals to-go; a HALF loco moco that was spot-on for two adults and a breakfast sandwich split for 2 kids, again just enough food.

We took our meals (plus fruit/juice from our cooler) to the park nearby the pier, a little bit of shady spot with some shady bathrooms. But everyone was courteous and we enjoyed our meal before that drive. Would definitely...

Walked in with my wife to have some breakfast. While my wife was supposed to make an order I asked if I could use a restroom. The lady at the counter said we don’t have a restroom first. I thought it was kind of weird and asked if she said that there were no restrooms in the restaurant ??! On what she said that she was asking how I was doing... I asked about the restroom again, and that’s when she started screaming that I need to order food first, which I was completely fine with and obvious that my wife would put the order in. But that rude lady just cut us off and told us bie.... Anyways, be careful not to use or ask for the restroom first, cuz the lady may cut you off for the food or even say something mean what may ruin your day while you are on vacation in this...
