On our recent visit, my partner and I stopped by during our favorite hike, and it was the perfect pitstop to refuel. The setup is simple yet inviting, with benches and tables creating a cozy spot to sip your drink. I ordered an iced latte with macadamia nut flavor and oat milk, while my partner went for the same with whole milk and a caramel twist. Both were phenomenal—smooth, rich, and bursting with those signature Hawaiian flavors. It was hands-down the best coffee we had on the island, and we were gutted to find them closed when we tried to swing by again later that day. The service is a standout—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their craft. The barista took the time to make our drinks just right, and the chill atmosphere made us feel right at home. The menu also offers tea and non-coffee options, plus there’s a plant nursery nearby for a unique touch. It’s clear Nanea Coffee is a local favorite, and it’s easy to see why. Ever have coffee served to you by the Hawaiian edition of Pedro Pascal or a younger pre-trial Johnny Depp? You can even watch him work but stay off his counter! Jk. It’s easy to hover with so much rad stuff to look at. At any rate there’s already enough 5 star ratings to talk about the coffee. I got the Golden Milk Latte and it was bomb.com. Husband said iced mint latte was delicious. I’ll take his word for it.

Favorite coffee place in Kauai! I didn’t get the name of the gent who helped me, however, their espresso is superb. I am a big coffee connoisseur where I regret not buying some of the beans. The lad who helped is super chill where I asked if he had anything unique, which he did. He had a local homemade rose syrup, which was awesome. I would suggest to put a light amount as it can be overpowering. My partner tried the Carmel americano along with the latte and both were amazing! The Carmel americano will be my go to drink.
