Sunrise Shave Ice — Restaurant in Kauai

We went on two occasions and had absolutely horrid service both times. The first time, the employee was very kind until she saw I didn't tip on my card (cash was in my pocket pending her service). She then became very rude and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. The next night a guy saw us come up to the stand and immediately sat down and got on his phone. Then he stood up, glanced at me and didn't say anything. I greeted him and said "hi how are you", he still didn't respond so I continued to order. He made a smoothie that was not even close to full and was warm. The rest of my party was going to order 6 other items but decided not too and took our business elsewhere. He did make a new smoothie after I requested he at least fill it to the top but for a $10 smoothie I expect a little effort and the small cup to be filled. Go...

HORRIBLE SERVICE. We understand there was only 1 staff and we are more than happy to wait and ended up waiting 20 minutes before having our order taken. The blonde staff girl stared but did not greet us once nor any of the other people waiting in line. Not even a courtesy "I'll be with you soon", nothing. Once finished previous orders she rudely comes up and just expects us to order and tip but you get what you give, so no tips for that pathetic service. She also didn't want to give big spoons for shave ice. Your staff is a representation of your business and owners and this girl gave off miserable vibes and not a care in the world. Horrible service. You simply cannot put a CHILD in charge of the ONLY shave ice take-out in Princeville!! The little stand never opens on time! Long lines. One 16-17 year old behind the counter, simply walked away saying he needed a “break” with a long line of people waiting…They need to update that whole antiquated shopping center and ONLY allow responsible vendors to open a business. Even taking a chance to get a smoothie in the morning is ridiculous! Sign says, “opens at 10:00 am.” We arrived at 10:30, stand was still not opened. Kids walked over a few days, only to be told after waiting a LONG TIME, that it was “cash only.” Next day they were told “credit card only. Come on! Hire one...
