This is such a well deserving review. This place is off the hook, amazingly delish, fresh, and you can just taste the tender sweet love ignited in this food. If I picked just ONE place on the entire island of kauai to highly recommend , especially to vegans ( But I’m also positively for sure with no doubt in my mind that their other food is just as delicious, just not for me to eat.💕) This has been the only option I’ve ever had at a restaurant for a Gyro made with jackfruit. We opted for the vegan version which is a little different than the vegetarian version, however, I say jump right into it baby! Go for the vegan ! Ben at Tiki Tzatziki guarantees all 4!! The ingredients that he uses are super FRESH and in most cases right out of his garden! The FLAVORS that he combines are positively yummy!! His falafel gyro is my favorite because he grills the falafel instead of deep fat frying them so that they are soft and totally flavorful! His couscous salad with watermelon, feta & mint is a taste treat you should not miss! What is better than to know that each time you go, the meal you want will be just as good as the last time - CONSISTENCY is so important!! We stopped by this food truck after spending a day at Hanali Bay on the beach. My brother-in-law and his family at here a year ago and raved about the food. My wife and I are Mediterranean food lovers and have eaten in many cafés in Germany Austrian Switzerland, that serve Turkish Dönner kebabs. I spoke to the owner Ben, who said he lived in Bavaria and got the idea from all Dönners he has eaten in Europe. This guy really knows his stuff. The beef lamb was cooked to perfection and the fresh toppings and ingredients were full of flavor. We ordered a side of the Papas and the tahini sauce which was off the charts.
