If I could, I would most definitely give them a "big" zero rating... I stopped by at the Kaufman Burger King around 8:20 PM after work on Saturday, 11/11/23. I decided to go inside to order-to-go since the drive-thru has been consistently slow everytime I have stopped by. I ordered 2 Rodeo Burgers with 2 orders of fries and 2 Frozen Cokes. It took 30-40 minutes for my order. I just figured they were frying a new batch of fries. The girl who took my order was rude and unfriendly. I had to get her attention 1st and foremost to place my order. She never acknowledged that my order was ready while I was sitting and waiting at the booths. In my 30-40 minutes of waiting, only 2 cars went through the drive-thru and 1 customer came in. Definitely not busy! On my way home, I ate a handful of fries and couldn't believe how cold and stale they tasted. The Rodeo Burgers were the only positive I can think of and it was only average at best. What I don't understand is what has happened to Burger King??? It also seems half the times their equipments are broken. There food is superior to McDonald's and yet McDonald's is always busy and Burger King is the polar opposite. Whether around Dallas, Gun Barrel City or Kaufman or elsewhere, Burger King seems to always lack in customers. What happened??? I do have my theories. You have to look at the top - it has to be in management whether top executives, regional managers and/or local managers. How else can you explain these same kind of problems exist in the multiple Burger Kings I have visited. I will say that this is the 1st time I have personally witnessed rudeness here in this particular Burger King. Management needs to do much better job in their hiring.
*P.S. I drive by Kaufman on Hwy 175 every morning around 9ish and every night around 8 or so. Whataburger which is very close by always is crowded while Burger King may have 2 or 3 cars. This picture to me is very telling!
**P.S. Another update (9/23/2024) I have one question and it's an important one... how can this Burger King here in Kaufman still remain in business??? If I see 5 cars here, I'll think to myself "wow, it's busy." Whataburger consistently has more cars than that in their drive-thru alone on top of having a packed parking lot. As I've said before, you have to start at the top... the management is at fault - no question about it. Another theory I have is that the conglomerate who owns Burger King might be going the same route as what happened to Sears. It sure seems like the steady downfall is purposely perpetrated. I mean the problems are...
Read moreThe drive through employee dropped a large soda on my wife then instead of saying sorry or offering napkins just walked away leaving the poor teenager working at the front to give us our food. We pulled around to get napkins and after going inside the drive through employee (older with black hair) just panicked and walked to the back the gal at the front gave me a cup for water and a bunch of napkins to wash the soda off the inside. I went back to the car washed the soda off of the door and my wife then sat down and went through the food. We were missing one of the Whoppers. So I go back inside ask to see the manager and the manager tells the lady on the headset what does he need I tell her what happened and she just stares at me and goes yeah I'm sorry. The manager couldn't have even been bothered so she gives me the Whopper with no tomato that's literally sitting there from my order 10 minutes previously there's just been sitting there. I'm like awesome I tell her it's the little things that go a long ways and I leave. I won't be back. That was completely uncalled for not even a sorry and I don't know if the drive through lady was the manager or not. I wasn't looking for free stuff I just wanted an apology and to let her know that fast food chain or not if any modern pop business did all of those all at once it would be cutting into their livelihood she's lucky she works at a fast food chain with corporate will float you if...
Read moreMy husband and I just left the drive through, we ordered 2 of the trio meals. Once we paid, we looked at our receipt and realized it was wrong. My husband tapped on the window, the manager ( a thin white girl) looked at my husband and still walked away. My husband tapped on the window again, she then came to the window and yelled "Don't bang on my window." My husband said " I was trying to get your attention before you took the time to make the order." She then rolled her eyes, my husband then let her know the corrections that needed to be made on the order. Once we received our food, you could clearly tell they were trying to be funny because there was a ton of mayo and mustard on the sandwiches, it was so sloppy, mayo and mustard was all on the outside of the paper. The chicken sandwiches were cold and the fries were ice cold. We pulled out of the drive through and took the food back for a refund. No apology was given just still bad attitude from the staff especially the manager. This is the first time I have had horrible service from there, I have been going to this burger king for years. One thing for certain as a business owner myself I would not allow employees to behave like this. I will not be back as long as this manager is there. Not sure if she is just naturally rude or a racist but she clearly did not care to be her...
