I have NEVER felt so outright bullied by a service staff. I mistakenly ordered the wrong roll of sushi, and I kindly asked them to make a new one and not only did my server look at me like I was disgusting and ignorant, she acted it was simply not allowed. I was then treated like I was incompetent in my order, and didn’t understand the menu, when the fact was simple, I did not like my food. She kept trying to talk me into it and then stomped away and brought out who I assume was the manager. She then YELLED at me in front of a Friday night crowd (by no means empty) about the difference in raw and cooked fish like I was just ordering the wrong thing. I was then left to sit and wonder what was being said between them and then exasperated finally agreed to remove it from my bill.

I then chose not to finish any of my food and let my partner enjoy his meal. The staff continued to circle my table and be obnoxious and make us extremely uncomfortable with their under handed whispers, and having kitchen staff come out to look at us, point, and retreat. When I refused a to go box the woman SPIT on my plate as she walked away with it. I am so glad I don’t act out in public because I was genuinely appalled, I LOVE their food and we eat here often. I just wanted to try something new, and made the wrong call. Instead of being treated like someone who was a customer and making a request I was treated like an idiot who bothered them that day. I have never felt so bullied and berated by a restaurant and I will never make the mistake of eating here and giving people my hard earned money when I’m treated like a $11.95 sushi roll is worth more than my business.

KaJi Japanese Sushi and Grill has to be the very best food that I've had in Missouri since I moved here. This is pure authentic Japanese dining, and I am in love with the food and the staff here. They keep the restaurant spotless, are very kind, and served my family the best Japanese food I've ever had; so much so I'd rate this place a solid 10 out of 10 for those who love seafood. Everything here was absolutely delicious and not to disappoint. However, beware, the Wasabi here will be the hottest thing you've ever had in your life, yet still a delicious addition to your meal. I'd highly recommend the seaweed salad here, personally I found it to be delicious.

Very surprised at how amazing their teriyaki dishes are. I went there with my buddy as a celibration on his new job, he loves sushi. I'm not a huge fan of sushi as I haven't tried a lot, and was slightly worried there wouldn't be a lot for me to eat there, but, I saw the steaming Teriyaki steak dish being walked to tables, and it looked AMAZING. I ordered it instantly, it was 22$, I thought was a little bit pricey at first. I ordered my steak very rare, and they actually cooked it perfectly! Basically almost raw wich I love and most cooks won't do it! Tasted AMAZING.
