Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Kearney

We went in, and it was obvious that one employee was training another. We ordered our meals and were told that a free blizzard came with those specific meals. We ordered which blizzards we wanted. The two employees wrap up the transaction. We go get our drinks and we are waiting because we ordered a to-go order. In the time of waiting, we saw the employees scrambling to make orders and figure out whose order was what. We were asked by the employees several times if we needed anything but notified them we were waiting on our order. We were informed that they are backed up. No biggie. Rush hour dinner. Understandable. Another 15 minutes go by and an employee brought out a to go order and tried to give it to the wrong customers. That employee goes and takes the food to wherever. Another employee asked what we were waiting on. We said our order and that's the food they took back that they accidentally tried giving a different customer. We ended up paying for those "free blizzards". There was no organization and you could tell everyone was scrambling. Where is the management? This location...

I was pretty unhappy with our experience at Dairy Queen tonight and the last time we came. They took over 30 minutes to complete our order. And then when they brought it out to the car, they hadn’t even brought the Blizzards we had ordered. After waiting another ten minutes, my husband had to go in and see what was going on. While waiting, I checked the food and was really disappointed with the amount of food they put in the chicken baskets. For paying nearly $70 for our dinner, they only included about a small size worth of fries in the basket. And then they forgot the dipping sauces as well, but by this point, we were sick of waiting and just left. Come on guys! You can do better. They did give us a couple of coupons for $1 off blizzards next time, but unfortunately, saving $3 doesn’t sound like much of a makeup for the inconvenience and short changing on food quantity. Went thru drive up on March 25, 2021. Only car in line at 6pm or so. Ordered 2 small Raspberry fudge blizzard's. Pulled into their lot to eat. All the flavoring and fudge pieces were only in the top half of the cup. Everything else was just tasteless white ice cream. I have complained about this before at this DQ location. Evidentially to no effect. The DQ on N. Oak is consistently great on all their products. Well worth the drive.

April 27, 2021 at 7:30 pm. One last Time. Shame on me. Ordered small cheesecake blizzard. Pulled in parking lot to eat. I ordered a blizzard. Got charged for a blizzard but, what I got was flavored milk with cubes of cheesecake floating in liquid. Supposed to be frozen consistency not liquid. This is a consistent problem here and not at any other DQ. My opinion but this must be due to cost cutting somehow. Which for what is charged for a blizzard is ridiculous.
