Update: I received a call from the store manager and he was very upset with the Sonic support staff for the way they handled my complaint. I have a refund waiting anytime I can make it back that way, and I really appreciate it. Someone there actually DOES care! I ordered AND PAID FOR two double bacon cheeseburgers along with sides at the drive through from the Kearney Missouri Sonic. After waiting for fifteen minutes to get my order and then making the half hour drive on home, we discovered that we received only single bacon cheese burgers. SINCE this is not even close to the first time this particular location has jacked us on basic orders, I contacted the telephone number on the receipt and provided all the proof, only to be informed that I can only get a refund if I used the app to make my order, which I obviously had not. BUT, they wanted to "make it up to me" with a coupon for two free cheeseburgers, with the caveat that I can only use it with another purchase AND have to download their app to get the coupon! WHAT kind of THIEVERY is this!?! Sonic will never again get my business, I am incredibly disgusted at the lack of care and service from a business that claims to be service-oriented. Read moreI've had 3 recent experiences in the last month with this Sonic after moving to Kearney last year. The first, I ordered 5 shakes and sat there and waited 35 minutes before asking them what is up. They said they thought I drove off... so they bring me my drinks, the payment wasn't taken, so I had to wait on her to take my card back to the building as well. Second experience I went through the drive through, no longer trusting the stalls. I got a drink and cheese balls, both were wrong sizes for some reason. I didn't complain, the drink was great but small, and I came back for another one tonight. I waited in the drive through for 25 minutes, with a line building up behind me... and gave up and won't go back. The second I pulled away she took the next lady's order, and by the time I got around the block the lady was driving off. With 3/3 visits having major issues, none of which getting my proper order and 2/3 of them taking insane amounts of time just for drinks, I will not be back. I have a coupon for free food that I can't use, because I can't get any service, and I acquired it because I couldn't get any service....
Read moreDon't bother using the app to order ahead. It might say 5-7 minutes but it's really like 20-30. They also have 75% of the stalls blocked off so good luck getting in to one. The last two times I've been here have been bad. First time it was a 30 minute wait and they brought me out someone elses order. Today I ordered and didn't get there till 10 minutes later(App said 5-7 mins). Checked in and a another truck had pulled in the drive through the same time as me. 10 minutes go by and they were done and gone and I still had not received my order. Finally the screen said it was being brought out. Car next to me had theirs brought out and I waited another 5 before calling on the button. As soon as I called she brought it right out. If I hadn't have called my order would have just sat there forever. I don't know if it's the app or the employee's but this place...
