I want to give this place a 5 star review. I really do. Among the locations in town, I've never been disappointed with the quality or temperature of the food. They're employees always seem happy or are at least good at making the customers feel like they don't hate their job. They're Nebraska nice and I appreciate that.
However, my biggest complaint about this McDonald's and really any other location on the planet that does this is the fact that when I order a Happy Meal for my child they ask me if it's for a boy or a girl.
First of all, who cares? Just because my son has a penis doesn't mean he automatically wants transformers or "boy toys".
Secondly, why can't they just ask what toy we would like? Don't they want their customer to be happy? I don't buy a happy meal for the food. I'm buying it for 4 year old child in my back seat who only cares about the toy and the french fries.
So go here for the decent food (I mean it's McDonald's so...well you get what you get), but for what it is, it's good. I'm not gonna lie. I feel terrible admitting it, but it IS dang delicious. Especially those fries. And the service here, impeccable. Every time I go I feel good about all the human interactions I had. Read moreIf I could give a negative rating for my experience tonight on 2/15/20 I would!!! The drive thru was very busy, I understand. I placed order for double cheeseburger deluxe, even ask when I ordered what was on burger. Paid & when was given order was only a double cheeseburger. Explained what I had ordered, was told would make & pull into waiting lane. Then was brought order to me, explaining that the manager said was not able to make the switch in what I ordered to what I received! The manager is Michele and I am very unhappy! Even more unhappy that my total wait time was 30 min from pulling into drive thru to receiving what I didn’t order! And then as I drove off, ate the fries and were cold because I am sure they set in sack the additional 15 min that I waited for the order to be corrected! Then I took 1 bite of burger and was even colder as once again I know it sat there! Had to wait until I traveled home to reheat in microwave so I was able to eat warm! $8 is way to much to pay for cold fries, a reheated burger & 30 min wait time! I'm driving home and it's 2:15 a.m. the app was not allowing me to use deals and it wasn't until I finally pulled up to the drive-thru that I found out that I had to use the store location barcode option. I ordered a quarter pounder with a free Big Mac under the deals. I asked for all of the extras, I also asked for a McFlurry but of course the ice cream machine was down. I ended up settling for a black coffee with three cream and three sugars. The wait time was roughly 15 minutes and I wasn't held up getting to the order menu or to either of the windows longer than 10 seconds. When I received my food that I had already paid for I restrained myself from pulling forward to inspect my special instructions and the deal that I had used to make sure the receipt and food were correct. While I was inspecting my food the gentleman who handed me my bag and coffee was heard and seen yelling towards someone else inside the store. The Lobby is closed so it was probably another co-worker and they have headsets on so I really don't understand why yelling would be appropriate.
