honeygrow — Restaurant in Kearny

The ONLY reason this place is getting more than one star from me is because of the atmosphere and friendly customer service.

You absolutely do not get what you pay for with the food. I'm going to include a picture of the food as it's presented at the kiosk and as it looks when you receive your order. I paid $14 for something that isn't even worth $10. The proportions are not great AT ALL. I could have spent $11 at Fluffies on a filled mac n' cheese platter and gotten MUCH more than this. The food is decent, but what it comes down to is ramen noodles, some pieces of chicken, and a few mushroom slices. I could have gone to a ramen house and gotten a proper, full bowl of ramen for a dollar more.

I can't tell you how disappointed I was to receive my order and feel like there's way less food in the paper bag than there should be. What gall, with Chipotle being right next to this place, selling their big ol' burritos at better prices and with better tastes. At Honeygrow, I was shocked and confused by the proportions relative to the price I paid.

I will not be coming back or recommending this...

My experience at Honeygrow was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The customer service was excellent every staff member I interacted with was polite, friendly, and patient. They took the time to explain the menu and help me understand how to customize my order, which I really appreciated.

The food itself was incredibly fresh and so good! You can truly taste the quality in every bite the vegetables were crisp, the noodles perfectly cooked, and the sauces full of bold, clean flavors. I love the garlic, sesame sauce. Everything was made to order and served hot and fresh.

Honeygrow is definitely one of those places that stands out for its freshness and quality. The ingredients always taste clean and vibrant, and I love how you can customize your stir-fry or salad exactly how you want it. The restaurant has a modern inviting vibe that makes dining there feel casual but still nice.

The staff members are friendly, patient, and willing to help if you’re not sure what to order. Even when it’s busy, they do their best to keep things moving smoothly.

Now, I’ll admit…it’s a bit on the pricey side. But honestly, it’s worth it for the freshness and quality you get. You’re paying for clean, flavorful food that leaves you feeling good afterward and not heavy or greasy.
