Five Guys — Restaurant in Keene

Amazing burgers and fries. Had the cheese burger “all-the-way” and it was perfectly cooked through. Their fries have gotten even better with time. The reason for 3 stars is this: look I know you’re not going to 5-guys for a gourmet experience, and that’s just fine. However the bathrooms were something akin to ones you would find in a back alley porta potty. There was a mysterious slippery liquid on the floor in front of the drink machine (they did mark it with a caution sign) which was unavoidable to walk in due to its size and location. We sat at two obviously not cleaned tables, which they very rapidly cleaned when we asked for just something to wipe it down ourselves. There was food all over the floor, I probably could’ve made a bonus meal out of it. All and all they’re trying really hard. Their staff was courteous and friendly and saved this review from less stars. I’m not going to pretend that they have enough workers or get paid enough to care as much as they do, yet they keep on smiling and keep on cooking great food. It’s unfortunate that they were so awesome because the state of cleanliness in the place does them a great disservice. Hopefully things get better for them soon so I can give this the stars...

Five Guys is hands down the best "fast food" place for burgers that I have ever come across. They are consistantly fresh and hot with both burgers and fries, keeping this customer forever returning for more!! I also love the fact that they post the name of the farm where they purchased their potatoes that day for the hand cut French fries. Atmosphere is very(seat yourself) casual and they have free peanuts for a snack to hold you over until your burger is done! You are given a number and they call it out when your order is ready, which usually is only a few minutes. I pretty much get the same thing every time. Small Cheeseburger, L, T, pickles, mayo, ketchup. When you finish eating, you bus your own tables. The staff there, (I've been to two different restaurants) have always been nice. Definitely one of our favorite burger places to eat at. We went 2x to this one. The first time we went it was pretty packed, but we ordered and sat down to wait, wait and then wait some more. The place was slowly emptying out so, after taking our number up and questioning why it was taking 25-30 mins to get our food, they explained our order had been given to someone else by accident. They quickly put our order in again and gave us our food. The place was almost empty at that point, so we now had our choice of seating. While we were eating, the manager came over and apologized profusely for the mistake and gave us a $20 Gift Card to use on our next visit. We did so and everything went smoothly on that visit.
