Riverside Plaza — Local services in Keene

I went to Walmart to grab a few items real quick. The parking lot was 90% full. I sat in my car debating on entering what must be a very busy store. I finally went in and it must be the start of Christmas shopping. It was packed. The busiest I've seen it all year. I know most stores plan for these rushes, not Walmart. I counted 30 people in line & that was in front of me. So why was only self checkout open along with a single human operated register! I find that disgusting. Without customers walmart wouldn't be. Retailers know this. There was an employee leaning on a shirt display & I said "wow" upon seeing the lines. She simply said sorry. I tried to strike up conversation by inquiring, " is this the start of holiday shopping?". She rolled her eyes & ignored me. Next time I will put my items down &...

I know it wasn't busy when I went inside the Riverside just me and then another customer came in the cashier wasn't waiting on anybody at the time t when I asked her to show me where the cigarette machine roller was located at? She was having nothing to with it I get it it's early in the day yeah it's not even 11:30ish a.m. she was telling me something but I'm not sure through their face mask I didn't understand a word she said I don't believe she even really opened her mouth but I guess she was having a bad day 🙄 see as I was growing up I was told that customers are the ones that keep your paycheck going without customers in the business you don't have a paycheck. Allow me to 1st say that I am a relatively new resident of Keene therefore not privy to the history of this plaza. Since I established residency here there have been at least 2 major businesses that have closed and left. There's even remnants of a Burger King that used to be a part of this plaza that left prior to me moving here. This plaza holds the only Walmart for about a 20 mile radius so it is a very busy plaza especially during the holidays. During the holidays I would not recommend going here unless it's absolutely necessary. Please drive through this plaza with an abundant amount of care! You may wind up with a child for a hood...
