I reached out to little Zoeâs event coordinator in august of 2022 about catering my wedding in august of 2023. I was told by Ed, the event coordinator that I would need to reach back out in January of 2023 when their new menu comes out. So on 1/5/23 I emailed Ed again asking if I could learn more and potentially book their mobile truck. I never heard back so I emailed him again on 1/18/23 asking if I could get some information. On 1/25/23 I finally decided to call Ed. On this phone call Ed proceeded to tell me he was already booked for 8/26/23 and that itâs a âfirst come first serve basisâ I explained to him that I would have booked back in august if he was willing. He said âwe canât predict for the future two years in advanceâ. I found that to be a strange response. He then proceeded to tell me that the person who booked my desired date booked it on 1/6/23âŠ.ONE day AFTER I reached out. I was shocked to say the least and very confused. So overall, this was a HORRIBLE experience and Edâs lack of communication completely ruined a chance to have a good paying customer, good reviews, social media advertising, and future business from myself. I canât speak to anyone elseâs experience but my own. I actually have never written a google review before but I have worked in customer service industry for years and this lack of communication is truly appalling to me. I felt compelled to speak about this experience. I can only hope that little Zoeâs and their âevent coordinatorâ can learn from this experience and do better. Please consider reviewing your email inbox on a daily basis and not ignoring potential $$$ for your...
Read moreFirst impressions. I like brick oven pizza and this was in fact what I'd expect out of Brick Oven pizza. The crust of the regular crust is crispy and slightly blackened as you would expect. The pizza was prepared neatly and had adequately dispersed toppings so you didn't miss anything with each bite.
Flavor and consistency. The crust was a little thin for my personal taste which is the only reason why I personally wouldn't give it 5 stars, but that doesn't detract from the quality. It was evenly cooked and delicious. The SAUCE though, best sauce I have had on a pizza in some time. I ended up eating the entire small pizza in an evening.
Gluten free. The gluten free crust was different though and I understand it is likely because it was gluten free, but the crust was soggy and wet. I'm sure it would have held together better if there were a binding agent such as cheese at the top of the pizza, but unfortunately no vegan cheese options are offered. However, this again doesn't detract from my personal rating as I do not have such dietary restrictions and I understand the added expense, lack of consumption, and short shelf life of vegan cheeses typically limits these options, but I feel that it should be mentioned.
I only live about 6 minutes away and had no stops from the shop to home, so I wouldn't expect time to be a factor in this. It was still hot when we began eating.
Ultimately, I would eat here again, but it wouldn't be a place that I personally would go out of my way for. If you read this, take it with a grain of salt. It is excellent pizza, just not my...
Read moreWe have been trying pizza all over the east coast and this week he stopped at Little Zoeâs! Every place we get a pizza with half pepperoni half cheese, garlic knots, and this time we added a salad. First letâs talk pizza⊠delicious. We gave it a 9/10! It was thin, the sauce had amazing flavor and just overall an excellent pizza. The cook on the pizza was perfect crispy outside soft inside. Ratio to sauce and cheese was spot on! Next was the garlic knots and do yourself a favor and order extra⊠10/10. Best garlic knots we have had so far. They were soft, crispy edges, garlic was on point. The sauce they serve it with has so much flavor and not like the average marinara served with garlic knots. It was even warm!!! A salad is a salad, but these marinated or pickled red onions were a huge hit even with the non onion eaters! It was so fresh and the veggies were perfectly crisp. This place takes a lot of pride in their food and it shows. Our estimated wait time went a little over and they offered me a free soda to make up for it, which was appreciated but not expected! The extra wait was well worth it. Do yourself a favor and stop looking for another pizza place and order from Little Zoeâs. You...
