Jeremiah's Italian Ice — Restaurant in Keller

They just opened a few months back and I had been meaning to try them for a while. I finally made it out on a Sunday evening and it was packed - I can tell this place is a hit. The girl at the counter helped me out a bit since I don’t know how Italian ice + gelato works and I ended up getting a Peanut Butter Cup favorite (ice & gelato) for myself and a piña colada + strawberry (ice only) for my wife who is lactose intolerant. Both treats were fantastic. The place was clean, the staff all looked happy, and the menu was pretty straightforward once you know how it works.

When you go, you choose one of three sizes - small, medium, large. You can choose a Favorite, which is a list of pre-designed treats that are all a mix of layered gelato and Italian ice, or you can just create your own custom treat with either Italian ice, gelato, or both. They have toppings as well.

If you’re unsure what to get, they’re happy to let you try samples of anything you’re curious about.

They pile each treat high so be sure you grab a napkin to help contain the goodness!

I found this place through a Facebook advertisement that featured their new Nerds Italian Ice Treats. We happened to be in the area and decided that to check them out. The first thing I noticed was the bright sign and the patio seating tables with umbrellas everything looked very inviting. Once you step inside there was a beautiful bright mural on the wall that was super cool to look at and really added to the ambiance of the place. The employees were welcoming and friendly. I couldn’t decide on the flavor and asked for free samples which they gladly provided and the sample size was big! Once I made my select of flavor we placed our orders and the service was quick. We did not have to wait long. The treat I ordered looked exactly like it did in the ad on Facebook and was very delicious. The ice cream was delicious which is the only reason I gave it any stars… So, I will likely give it another go. BUT!!!! Lord have mercy on my ever loving soul!! The service was horrible this evening. There were four girls on the clock from what we could see. One kept hiding in the back. One was on and off her cell phone, one was working the drive thru, and the other was working the register in the building. The line was insane inside, and we were second in line. There was one car in the drive… we waited over 20 minutes to order. We ordered five smalls and were given three smalls, and two mediums and had to wait over 10 minutes to receive the last one. So, I don’t know?? More training?? Maybe no cell phones allowed? Another person? A manager that cares? I don’t even...
