I left my original review below. I was very generous with that one considering they ignored me for 5 minutes while I was waiting for a menu to take to my partner so we could decide what to eat, but they flat out ignored me and helped other guests. I was wearing a pleated skirt, converse, and a Hello Kitty jacket and the others were dressed nice so I assume that’s why. My partner convinced me (disgruntled by the poor service atp) to go back to order bc we’d been wanting to try this place for a while. They helped us and the food was amazing! But upon wanting to order again, not even a week later bc the food was amazing, I was met with the same attitude. I called and they greeted me then hung up when I asked to place a pick up. I called back three times after and got a “this person is not available” dial tone. The food is good but getting it is a mission. I probably won’t be returning due to the fact I got treated like trash on two occasions even after giving the benefit of the doubt. I forgot to mention the pork was undercooked, pink in the middle, and I found a hard piece of plastic in my chicken Karaage Bao
TDLR: The food is amazing but their service sucks and they’ll serve you last if you’re not dressed nice :(
My original review: The chicken karaage bao was literally to die for. So many great flavors that make me wanna...
Read moreListen, if you are reading this drop what you are doing and check this place out. They're a new spot on 88th right off the 874, and its absolute fire. The "taco" shell they are using is this tiny crunchy bite of heaven I've never had before.
After my second visit with the fam, I tried quite a few items from the menu to include Spicy Pork Bao, Chicken and Waffle Bao, Bao con Lechon, Tatsu [Dragon] Bao, Pio Pio and Beef Tacos, Pork Belly Bao, Chicken Won Ton, and Fried Oreos!
All of the food was so good, but my favorites are the Pio Pio tacos, Chicken and Waffle Bao, and the Tatsu [Dragon] Bao. The Fried Oreos were also amazing. Don't get the Dragon if you don't like spicy food.
All the ingredients are fresh and you can tell they pickle their own onions, make their own amazing garlic sauce, and put alot of effort into their food.
Very important, if you are going to get the tacos, you need to eat them right away. Their shells are light and crunchy so they will get soggy if you wait too long.
With regards to the Boba, I'm not a Boba guy, but my wife and son are and they both said the Mango and Taro Boba were really good, as well as the Chicha which we all tried.
I wish the best for this awesome family owned place with a very unique taste, and will...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I are always on the lookout for new spots to try, and one day he drove past Taco Bao It and was immediately intrigued by the name. Today we finally decided to check it out—and WOW, what an incredible experience!
We started with the chicken wontons, and they were so good I could have stopped there and still left happy. Perfectly crispy, flavorful, and absolutely crave-worthy. But then came the bao buns, and they took things to the next level.
The Chicken and Waffle bao was a sweet and savory dream—like comfort food in a fluffy little package. And the Bao con Lechón? Tender, flavorful pork with the perfect balance of seasoning and texture. Every bite was better than the last.
Honestly, I don’t understand how this place isn’t packed! The food is delicious, the concept is unique, and the flavors are on point. If you’re in Miami and want something that hits all the right notes—go to Taco Bao It. We’ll definitely be coming back for round two (and...
