Smoothies were the best thing about Fiafia and I would absolutely go back for those alone.
Unfortunately though, the Açaí O.G. Smoothie Bowl was a thin, soupy, and had ice-cream level sweetness—was expecting a heavier/heartier granola/açaí fill for breakfast. Maybe it’s intended to be a sweet treat though? The “sun dried tomato pesto toast” item states “avocado or hummus” is added, but also underwhelmed with no fresh avocado. It’s an avo paste according to the staff I asked… but she couldn’t discern between the pesto paste and the avocado paste, and nor could I, so I just ate what was there! Further on the toast, it was hard to eat how It was served (suggesting they cut into / halves). Lastly, toast was topped with a crunchy chickpea topping was way over salted (and I enjoy salty bites!) So a long constructive critique that what I thought would be the 2 breakfast entrees fell short, but again, great smoothies. The place has such potential otherwise, great location, staff, and outdoor seating if you’re lucky enough to...
Read moreWhat a pleasant surprise this little place was. We wanted some healthy food instead of all the fried seafood around. And this place did not disappoint! They were so friendly and answered all our questions. I had the Açai Bowl OG, and a Ginger Green Smoothie. Both were phenomenal. They certainly don't skimp on the açai, that's for sure! And all the fruit was so carefully placed. They really took time to make a beautiful presentation. It tasted amazing. And the ginger green Smoothie was fabulous. It's very gingery, which is exactly what I was looking for. My friend had the Sundried Tomato Toast wuth Avocado and she loved it. Shea brought out our food and was just as sweet as she could be. We sat outside at the picnic tables next to the store, in the shade. This was a delightful experience through and through. If you're looking for healthy eating choices in kennebunkport, I highly recommend...
Read moreThe smoothie and Açaí bowl I ordered was very good! However - customer service was not. Although The blonde that had taken my order at the counter was friendly, the brunette with the claw clip could learn to at least acknowledge people when they say thank you. I very politely asked for an extra spoon with my açaí bowl and it seemed like the biggest inconvenience in the world. I thanked her with a smile, and received a blank stare. As she turned around to walk inside I said “thank you!” Very loudly again so I’m sure she heard me. As someone that also works in a very very busy açaí/smoothie place, I understand the hustle, but taking the time to acknowledge your customers and not make them feel like an inconvenience goes a really long way. Wish I could’ve given...
