I planned on trying Roma ( because the aromas were calling me in) before I left KPT so I went in for a slice one night and even though they had a good assortment of slices, I just had to try the fig pizza. My problem was that I had to order a whole pie. I only had one day left but ordered it anyway (knowing I would have to waste most of it). It was hard to spend that much $$ when I only wanted a slice ( could have had another lobster roll!! ) but I did and I’m happy I did! I also bought an alcoholic drink. This was a December night and very cold so hurried to my cozy Airbnb. OMG What’s the word for better than perfection???! I only wish I had it days before so I would have been able to eat more. It was honestly one of the best pizzas I have ever had. ( Look up the menu on their site!) Done to perfection which is not that easy to find. Not at all underdone and skillfully taken out just as the crust starts to blacken. I have been on a quest to find a fig pizza that good ever since I got home. Wouldn’t you think an Italian city like Buffalo, it would be no problem? Well it is a problem. I did find one but wasn’t anything like Roma as per menu. Doesn’t matter. I was told they don’t really make them anymore!??! I did find a promising place on line during the months of Dec. Jan. and Feb. as I was a prisoner in my home during snowstorms, ice storms and blizzards. It’s only 50 miles away in a truly Italian town and sounds very promising. Going this week! This is how obsessed I am with Roma’s fig pizza!! PS BTW , I don’t like cheese overkill on any pizza so I (almost) always mention this and am a big ricotta fan. I can’t wait to SHARE a fig pizza there next time. Cozy dining area on right and very nice small bar area on left....

No one was there when I arrived to pick up my pizza, at least I thought no one was there. After a minute of looking around and waiting for someone, I spotted a girl sitting very still on her phone next to a soda machine right behind the counter. I didn't notice her for a while. It was obvious I was there as I was talking with my wife so we just waited, fascinated, wondering how long it will take her to notice us or care enough to help. She suddenly jumped up and told me they have no slices. I told her I was picking up an order, she said someone will be right with us so I waited even longer for another girl to eventually help me. Now on to the pizza, it was not very flavorful and it was the thinnest pizza I have ever laid eyes on. I'm from Long Island so I'm used to thin pizza but this was a little crazy, it almost fell apart in my hands. The garden salad was disappointing, just lettuce, cucumber, carrot matchsticks and a quartered tomato, no onions, olives, pepperocini, or piece of bread. My first Maine pizza experience was pretty bad, I'm interested to try somewhere else. This the first review I've ever left, I want to warn others and provide some constructive feedback to the owners. I'm sure they're nice people and I'm sorry to leave this review but this restaurant really needs to step it up on all fronts. Staff, decor,...

tried Roma‘s tonight for the first time, and finally, I have a second place that I can get good pizza! (the only other place i really like is seacoast) you can say I’m on the picker side, 😅 and ever since my favorite pizza place closed in Springvale, I don’t have very many options of places that I like around here. my mother had been wanting to try roma’s since we moved to the area, and after a few people saying how great it was, we decided to try it out tonight! i called to ask if they could do a half and half with a specialty pizza (as some places won’t) and the owner was happy to! unfortunately (to no fault of anyone but myself) i got so excited that i named the wrong pizza 😅 i was dying to try the nashville because hot honey is my jam! but i accidentally told them the fenway - oops! but it was still delicious! cooked perfectly how i like it, crispy thin crust and the sauce was great! and my mother wanted to try their cookies, they had three left and the owner was so kind as to give us three for the price of one as it was the end of what they had left! he was very friendly and had great customer service! i will definitely be back! (to try the right pizza...

OMG SO SO GOOD!! My husband and I were in Kennebunkport for the July 4th holiday weekend. It was raining cats and dogs and we wanted to have a cozy pizza night. There was a miscommunication with our order and it was cancelled somehow without us knowing. (The email went to an old email address or something) We went to pick up our order and they were basically closed. The owners saw us knocking on the door. (We we're freaking out because we didn't have plan b as it was already late and no other options for dinner). The owners brought us into their pizzeria. He turned his pizza oven back on and made us our two pies (we really didn't need both of them!!) they even had a drink with us while it was cooking. The pizza was absolutely phenomenal. We were in heaven and the owners are really something else. We had a nice conversation. Really really wonderful down to earth couple. They really went above and beyond for us and we will always remember our pizza night in Kennebunkport. Thank you again for all that you did. It's rare to find people like that. We had our own private pizza experience at Roma's and loved every second. -Carolyn & Kyle

I ordered pizza from my phone on the beach at 4:10. It said it would be ready by 4:55. I immediately got a call and was told it could be ready in 15 minutes if I wanted it sooner. We drove over to pick it up and the smell of the pizza was pure heaven. We took it over to the break wall to eat it and it tasted even better than it smelled. It wasn’t greasy and the bottom was cooked to crisp perfection. It is a little pricier than other places nearby but (after eating at several of those) I will gladly pay the extra few dollars for a far superior pizza.
