We used to come to town about every month and always on our way back home (Spring, TX) we would stop and get boiled shrimp, potatoes and mushrooms and cajun crab dip and a Stuffed artichoke to eat at home....we do not make that trip but every few years or so now so we missed that treat. I initially asked on the FB page for the restaurant if they shipped and they answered right away that they do and who i needed to talk to whne i called (Ms. Stacy). Well, i called that day and we made arrangements for my order to be fulfilled and shipped to us overnight via FedEx. Ms. Stacy explained the charges and what the cost was and then what the shipping would be. Now i won't be able to do this all the time (too bad) but for a treat and to quell that hankering we had-this was so worth it (shipping was very reasonable to get to us. Now shipping will very depending on how heavy your package is and where it has to be shipped to. Thank you Ms. Stacy-we are like two crawfish burried in the mud right now (very happy). I also had my son who is in Virginia (he just got out of the Navy) get your info because he has a hankering for some Hubig pies and some other things we know the shop carries. Thank you again...

Nice! I stopped here at the recommendation of an acquaintance. I wasn't sure what I would try. It was a long wait to sit in the restaurant, so I went to the bar. Ashley acknowledged me right away. I wanted to try the non-alcoholic beer, but they didn't have it. I chose to drink water with my meal. I ordered the Swamp platter and my food was sitting before me in under twenty minutes. Felt like ten minutes... To my surprise, as it was my first time trying any, the frog legs were tender and tasty. The crawfish tails were good. The alligator was tasty. The alligator sausage was different, but I liked it. The etouffe was good. The turtle soup, that had a peculiar and distinct taste. I can't say that I liked it, but it was a new experience. My neighbor had a shrimp and catfish plate. Mr. Bruce was really nice and he enjoys shucking oysters. Be on the lookout for his Bruice Juice oyster sauce coming in September 2019! I didn't like that the air conditioner was on high, but I enjoyed myself overall. I had enough to enjoy for...

Today 4/1/23 @ 4pm my wife and I had received the worst level of customer service by a girl at a register. (Dark hair dark eyes). All she needed to do was make a sly comment!!! But really….Actions speak louder than words!! I’ll definitely be writing the owner a hand written letter. Racism is over!!!! I hope everyone got the message!!! But not in this place. I had to speak to the manager about the way this little girl treated my wife…. And to be honest I don’t think even the manager can stop the problem. Therefore, I really don’t think I’ll be returning…. I’m a visitor to the city that has newly relocated here! I live walking distance from the place… and I bring visiting family to here and refer it always…. That has now changed.

Look the business is great they have great food. But some of the staff have issues with different cultures, and races. Maybe one day they’ll hire people who are open to the fact that the...

Friendly staff. I was on a road trip from Chicago IL to Byron Georgia to see a friend I haven't seen in 13 years, and I decided to go to Louisiana for the seafood. They were very patient with me asking all these questions on what things were and what I was getting. I got over 15 pounds of shrimp, some crab meat and a lot of seasonings for sea food. I also got two lobsters. They packed the lobsters in a box for transport and they both survived the 850 miles trip back to Chicago. They also helped load up my stuff into the cooler and gave me ice for it. Chances are I may never be in Louisiana again, but I would absolutely recommend anyone reading this to try them out if you're in the market for sea food. The restaurant attached next to them is also great.

I went the first time in 15 years here a few months ago, and how much I feel like the mighty have fallen. It's more of a dive now, and I feel like the recipes have changed, or the ingredients have fallen. The place is a lot more sticky and greasy too, from everything from the furniture to the melamine plates to the flatware. I used to remember this place fondly, but not so much anymore. I thought it was me, and that my tastes have changed, but in going to other familiar haunts, I still seem to like Southern food. The portions are still good, and the food does look good, but, it just seems cooked with.. less love, I suppose.
