John's Waffle & Pancake House — Restaurant in Kennett

I would give it five-six stars if you were only comparing/contrasting waffle houses. It is a waffle house (breakfast-brunch-lunch). Biscuits are very good. (My opinion). Mom and brother David go at least once a week. The place is clean, and the staff is what you should expect from a breakfast/lunch diner in the south: pleasant, genuinely concerned you feel welcomed, with some Mam's, Sir's, dear's, sweetie's, and few other forms of informal endearments that make the south hospitable. (I am reasonably sure I heard a "aren't (arn't- correct southern spelling) you just darling" said to a child (not said in "why bless your heart" way). Sorry got carried away a bit. Anyway the food I have had was cooked correctly, of good quality, and of generous per-portions. Brother says lunch sandwiches are very good - myself the few I have had I enjoyed (all of them I have had have been brought to me while working so for honest comparing: I will endeavor to get in town for lunch.) I had an amazing breakfast experience at John’s Waffle and Pancake House. I ordered the chicken soup, which was sooo good. Also the Philly Steak Omelette, and it was absolutely fantastic—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The staff were outstanding, providing friendly and attentive service that made the meal even more enjoyable. From the moment you walk in until you leave, you are greeted with a smile and courteous and attentive staff. The food is delicious and never have I gotten a bad meal. They make you feel welcome and they are glad you came in. Went there one time and the place was packed, but in less than 5 minutes, we were seated and treated like the only ones there. The staff make each customer feel as though they are the most important person in there. The food is always delicious and hot. I recommend them...
