Bob's Burgers & Brew — Restaurant in Kennewick

Our food was amazing! Everything tasted so fresh and the fried portions didn't feel heavy! Everything was clean and we didn't have to wait to be seated when we went which made it extra nice! Our experience with our waitress was a bit strange though. It seemed maybe she was not very present.. almost drunk? She introduced herself (Shelby) and said she'd come right back with waters! By the time she came back we were ready to order. She started off by asking if we wanted anything else to drink and we asked for 3 sodas. She asked if we were ready to order our meals and we asked her for loaded potato skins, 2 orders of fish and chips, and my son ordered a plain kids burger. During this entire interaction she was VERY quiet, quite literally almost whispering, and she mumbled everything she said so it was hard to understand her. She was also very short spoken as well, like we were wasting her time. So took quite a while to get us our drinks and we actually had a gentleman from the kitchen bring us our meals before we had even had our sodas brought to us. When she came back to our table and noticed this, she scoffed about how she didn't even take that long to get our drinks and stood there for a minute watching us eat and drink. It was uncomfortable. The food itself was great! She never once checked up on us until we had finished and it was time to pay. We asked for boxes and a refill on my sons soda, and the check. My husband passed his card to her while he packed the food away and she stood there holding his card so I assumed she wanted me to take it. She proceeded to hand me her entire machine and walked away telling me to just leave it on the table. The whole thing was very strange and very weird. Restaurant Nightmare. We stopped here because we didn’t want fast food. Big mistake. I normally don’t write bad reviews, but this needs to be shared.

My wife ordered the sliders. She asked for no sauce. When they came, they had sauce. We debated saying something, because we don’t like being, “that customer.” My wife even said that to the waitress as we told her about the sauce. She said no problem at all, she told the kitchen no sauce and they didn’t get it right. She did seem surprised and upset that they had sauce on them.

She took them back and it took quite a while for her to return with the “new” sliders. After my wife had taken a few bites, she thought something tasted funny. Well, we looked at the burgers and found evidence of sauce on all 3. They had partially wiped them off, waited for a (long) while, and then gave them back to us. When we told the waitress she acted shocked but offered us nothing off of our bill as she cashed us out (she said something to the effect of, “They should never do that!”). At that point we just wanted to leave. I couldn’t help but think of folks that may have had an allergy of some sort, getting their burgers with sauce when they asked for none.

I felt like with fast food at least you mostly know what you are getting. I know this happens at times, but I guess after all of the publicity stuff like this gets, it wouldn’t happen much...

I didn't expect much coming into this place, but boy was I wrong. Bob's burgers and brews has some of the best burgers I have ever had. I got the blue cheeseburger and it was the best blue cheeseburger I have ever had, the blue cheese was melted on the Patty everything felt like it belonged they're french fries were fresh and tasted greay even without any dipping sauces. The only thing I'd have to say about the blue cheeseburger is that if you're going to get it do it without pickles because that extra bitterness from the pickles isn't needed the blue cheese takes care of that taste for you, I would recommend any of the burgers on their list I went with my family and there were no complaints everybody talked about how good the burgers were and how fantastic their fries were overall I have to say a five-star rating is not good enough for this place. The service was great, they kept our drinks flowing, made sure that we had everything we needed, and we're prompt with giving us checks and to go boxes as needed. My only regret is that I didn't take any pictures of the food I wish I would have because this review alone without pictures isn't enough to give this...
