I am really, REALLY surprised by all the 5Star ratings. I've only recently discovered Carl's Jr. even tho I know they've been around a long time. I just never thought to try them. One day I got a flyer in the mail and it piqued my interest so I decided to try them out. My first time I ordered the prime rib burger w/ff and got a dbl cheeseburger for my dogs. We ended up having to wait even tho there were no other cars in front of me or behind me. Took a little over five minutes to get my order. But the food was good so, I went again and this time I tired the BRC Grilled Burrito. What was really strange is the order taker had no clue what that was and said they didn't have burritos. Once she figured it out, maybe had to get help, had to wait AGAIN! Still no other cars ordering, which I've noticed whenever I pass by, Carl's Jr. is rarely ever busy. The BRC burrito was by far tastier than Taco Bell , in fact the best I've ever had, seriously!! With that, I went back, now my third visit and ordered the burrito of course because why mess with anything else when what you've discovered is so perfect? My mistake was I asked for the "bean and cheese burrito" assuming she'd understand I wanted the BRC. After a difficult go around, I finally said had to say THE BRC but when I got home it was only the beans and cheese AND AGAIN there was a "pull up to the corner and wait"! Three times now. Fourth time I decided to try the breakfast. Not so great however the hash browns are the BOMB!!! Melt in your mouth goodness. Why ever eat their ff when you can have their hash browns? I am obsessed with them. As usually tho I had to wait a 4th time which by now I'm seeing is 'their' norm. Which they need to seriously take serious and work on it because it's irritating and may explain why they get so little business compared to their competitors McDs across the road or DQ just up the road. People ain't got time to wait (every single) time they want to have a meal from a burger joint. Especially a burger joint. My fifth time because, I love that burrito and those hash browns, again they acted like they'd never knew they had burritos ... so after the usual go around, I asked if they had a fish sandwich and she said, "ah, I don't know" lol. So I said forget it and as per their usual I had to wait for the order. I'm a patient gal, but I'm thinking it's time to let the BRC burrito and hash browns take a rest or look for another Carl's Jr. I worry also about a 'fast lol' food joint running so slow and lacking knowledge about their products, how fresh can their food be? This Carl's Jr....
Read moreI’ve been to plenty of fast food joints in my time, but I’ve never experienced the level of service that Laura brings to the table. From the moment I walked into Carl’s Jr it was clear that Laura was a standout.
Laura greeted me with a warm, genuine smile that instantly made me feel welcome. Her enthusiasm was infectious—she wasn’t just taking my order; she was genuinely engaged and interested in making sure I had a great meal. She expertly navigated my complex order with a patience that was both impressive and refreshing. I’m used to feeling like just another number in the system, but Laura made me feel like a VIP.
As I waited for my food, I watched Laura multitask with impressive efficiency. She handled each customer with a blend of professionalism and personal touch, all while keeping the entire area spotless and running smoothly. It’s clear that Laura takes immense pride in her work, and it showed in every interaction.
When my order arrived, it was not only correct but presented with a touch of flair—a rarity in the fast food world. Laura had added a handwritten note thanking me for my visit, which was such a thoughtful touch that I haven’t seen anywhere else.
It’s the little things that Laura does that elevate the fast food experience from good to extraordinary. Her positive attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine care for her customers make her an invaluable asset to l Carl’s Jr
If you’re lucky enough to be served by Laura, consider yourself in for a treat. She’s proof that exceptional service can transform even a quick meal into a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be returning, and I’ll be hoping to see Laura behind the...
Read moreScrewed up my order royally. Only got one of my combo sandwiches and got the fries instead of onion rings.
I gave my wife the onion rings and my chicken sandwich to eat while I called the restaurant hoping to get them to remake my missing food.
This is where the second problem comes in. They would repeatedly answer the phone and hang up immediately. Tried five times and got the same results every time.
At this point I just want my money back for my entire combo and the extra spicy chicken sandwich I bought as I would not be eating that either.
I get there and the manager offers zero apology for screwing up my order and only offers to refund what I didn't get even though I brought back the drink and spicy chicken sandwich.
I've never been so treated like garbage by the manager of a restaurant before. It was completely unacceptable.
When I informed the manager that I would not be back to this particular establishment, all she had to say was "That's your choice." Still no apology or offer to refund all the food I brought back.
Worst possible experience. I would not recommend the Kennewick Ave Carl's Jr to anyone unless they want to be treated...
