The drink itself was good. The location is excellent. Employees not at the window seemed real happy. The problem was that I asked for super light ice, not only because they fill it to the top with ice if I don't request super light ice, but also bc I have a medical condition where I get chills out of nowhere so I lessen the chances of that by hardly having ice in my drinks. So anyway, I get to the window and I pay. 1st drink is an iced coffee, 2nd drink, MY drink, is a green iced tea. Full of ice. :( So I ask the lady (i'm smiling) does this seem like super light ice to you? I know she didn't prepare it so it isn't her fault. But get this, she says no but if we do light ice, I'd have to charge you extra bc you're getting more product. What?!? Im so floored by this. I paid for 32 oz of "product", not 16. I told her this is the only location with that policy. She says yeah, different owners, different store policies. Though she was polite, it didn't seem sincere tbh. She said they don't even do super light ice, only light ice and even then, its filled halfways with ice. In order to be at the ice level my drink was at that moment, you'd have to have filled it with ice all the way to the top given that the fluid will melt it dwn some. Anyway, blonde older than your typical Dutch bro employee, fake smile, that's her. I'll attach a pic of my drink which was filled 3/4 of the way when handed to me. The tip I left had nothing to do with her. My tea was really good. Today is 04/14/21 ps, it won't let me attach a photo. I'll have to do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love dutch bros and go to different locations often. I recently moved near this location and a handful of times ive gotten really disrespectful interactions with staff. All due to how they would like you to enter their location. On my way to work i come from washington st and they have complained and told me not to use the entry from Washington st even going as far to tell me I cut someone in line when i didnt and the employee did apologize for that. However even if i dont use that entry, the other entry states no left turns in which makes so much sense because Columbia Dr is always busy and its completely unsafe however if im coming from Washington st I have to turn left into their location. So in my mind I either make U turns every morning to get coffee which is irrational and a waste of time. Or i use the left turn in and risk my safety and other drivers, but i can use the Washington st entry if i dont mind being disrespected for doing it and or being told im cutting peopleš¤·š½āāļøš¤·š½āāļø Again I understand the pressure put on the employees but its ridiculous to assume im basically ok with having to make u turns to appeal to their rules...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've never had a bad or iffy experience at dutch bros anywhere i've went. the employees are known to be very friendly but today it seemed like the employee that helped was having a bad day. i've asked other times for employees to "surprise" me because im indecisive of what to get and never had i gotten a weird experience from it. if anything the employees have had fun with it and asked more questions to get more of an idea of a drink i would like. however today when i asked the employee for this she seemed to be bothered ? i told her to surprise me with whatever she wanted but i for sure wanted blue razz and coconut in the drink. the rest she could surprise me. after handing me my drink it didn't take anything to realize she gave me only the two flavors i mentioned. in the most sarcastic tone she hands me my straw and says "there's your surprise drink!". if it was too much to ask for she could've said that from the beginning worst experience...
