Brought a vehicle into Traffic Jams to purchase 2 subwoofers, amp and deck as well as the installation. I was quoted a little over 2 grand for everything. Scheduled about a week out And They had the vehicle all day, I picked up when they closed. I noticed almost immediately as I was driving off the parking lot that my gas gauge was not working. I did not think much of it considering I was focused on how good it sounded. Upon further inspection I realized it was more than just that. Gas gage, dome lights, horn, auto lock and a few other electronic things were wrong. When I called they told me to bring it in so that they could take a look. Their schedule is VERY booked so they made me feel bad for taking it back in. I spoke with one of the installers (didn’t catch his name) and he told me that’s how I brought it in. Right then and there I knew something was up. Mark (manager) and I were outside trying to diagnose what went wrong and realized there was a short causing all of this. They took the vehicle for another day (causing me to miss work) so that they could fix the issue. They ended up uninstalling and reinstalling everything witch also took the full day just for them to apologize tell me that they couldn’t figure it out. About a month goes by and we end up buying a brand new vehicle because we could not deal with the current issues And felt it wasn’t necessary to fix something that we did not cause. Called again to let them know of the situation and all they offered was a free uninstall. They uninstalled that day and left a $20 bill in my cupholder. Ended up taking the equipment that I purchased elsewhere to get installed into my new vehicle with no problems. Leaving 2 stars because I have brought previous vehicles into them for installs with no issues and have referred MANY people to their business. I get that accidents and screwups happen but I feel as though more should have been done. Good Costumer service is there when they are not overbooked understaffed and stressed out. I would like to point out how helpful and nice Steven at the front desk is. I unfortunately will no longer be returning to...
Read moreI initially had a great experience with Traffic Jams. The dash cam installation went smoothly, the customer service was excellent, and the in-store experience was impressive. However, over time, I began experiencing recurring electrical issues with my vehicle, including dead batteries and failure to start. These issues began after the installation, and when I returned for troubleshooting, the team focused only on the camera settings and battery, which did not resolve the problem. This left me uncertain about their level of expertise.
As I prepared to switch vehicles, I contacted the business several times to arrange for dash cam removal and potential reinstallation. Each call resulted in a different quote from their team and supervisor. On the third call, it became clear the issue wouldn’t be resolved, and when I asked to speak with the manager, he declined to engage. This lack of consistency and customer care was frustrating and disappointing. I no longer felt like a valued customer and have no intention of returning or recommending...
Read moreGreat staff, wonderful selection, movie theater for while you wait for your service to be done. Like could it get any better? Love this place. They did my entire sound system 8 years ago and was thrilled with it. Got my stereo replaced and hands free calling and talk to text set up in my super old 93' pickup today and I'm super excited about how good it looks, sounds, and functions.
I would reccomend any type of car/boat/home theatre audio customer to go to traffic jams.
Even if you're trying to do your own set up you can go in there and ask all the questions you need and the friendly staff will help you any way they can.
Also my personal recommendation would be to specifically ask for Alex to do your install work. Extremely knowledgable, friendly, helpful, does an excellent job on installs. Alex you're the man thanks...
