Today I decided to stop for coffee around 5 a.m. at this business requested only one scoop of sweetener. When I got home and tasted the coffee, it was overly sweet, so I went back to have it corrected. I explained the issue to the employee, who responded rudely and questioned whether I had been clear about my order. This was unnecessary, as I know how I like my coffee and had clearly specified my request.
I was particularly disappointed by the attitude when the coffee was remadeāit felt as though I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. Unfortunately, this is not the first time Iāve encountered rude behavior from the staff at this location.
Customer service is a vital part of any business, and I hope the owner actually takes steps to address the staffās consistent attitude issues. Employees who work with the public should genuinely enjoy interacting with customers, and this doesnāt seem to be the case here. I spent money on these drinks with the intention of getting the punch card redeemed for my purchase. Instead I was told by the supervisor I should have known they were no longer accepted because it was posted on their instagram. Keep in mind these cards have no expiration or link to instagram on them. They were extremely rude to my husband and I and refused to give us our free drink. I do not care if they switched their system, I still purchased these 10 drinks regardless of their current system. I have redeemed my roasters/black rock stamp cards as well as Dutch bros cards who have also switched to an online system just as they have, and every other coffee shop has honored them or switched my points over.
