Beware of having this restaurant cater your events. My daughter contacted Infusino's Italian Restaurant in Kenosha and talked to the owner Jerry Infusino. She liked what he was going to do and being Italian herself, was very excited about what he was offering. He assured her that he has done catering before and he could handle a wedding, no problem. We even went to the restaurant a week before the wedding to taste the food that we were supposed to have for the wedding. Everything was great. We had a number of entrees that Infusinos and my daughter agreed upon. The day of the wedding, we had appetizers during cocktail hour, which was fine. After that, everything went downhill. This was supposed to be a buffet dinner, where everyone serves themselves. It was absolutely horrible and embarrassing. They reassured us multiple times that there would be plenty of food for our guests. There were no warmers for the food, which resulted in luke warm food. When I went to get my meal, I noticed that there were only a few things on the buffet. There was a lady serving everyone, which I thought was strange. Later to find out they didn't have enough food. There was food missing and she was giving our guests 3 small tortellinis on their plates. There was no pasta, no bread on the tables with olive oil as we ordered, no green beans. They served meat tortellini instead of cheese, which was supposed to be for our vegetarian guests. I know that the lady was getting worried because she was really rude and unprofessional . She started serving the meatballs that were appetizers from hours ago and were sitting out. They were cold and not part of our dinner menu. Our guests were questioning what went wrong with the food, because it was so obvious that something was wrong. We were completely mortified! The amount of money that was quoted per plate was not adding up to their catering prices on line. Once we asked for a breakdown of what they were charging us, there was an extra $2000.00 that we were being charged that they couldn't explain . My daughter and myself tried calling and emailing numerous times to get this straightened out, but the owner and catering manager ghosted us after the wedding. We were taken advantage of and they should be ashamed of themselves. They ruined our wedding dinner and embarrassed...
Read moreDo not order italian beef for a party unless you have a pickup truck you can hose out after to pick it up in. They fill the containers to the brim and do not seal them, so beef juice leaks ALL OVER. Even the guy that helped me carry the containers out to the car spilled some juice just walking with it. I propped up the back of the containers in the slanted back seats of my car so they were level and drove VERY slowly and carefully (I was literally getting honked at for driving so slow), yet I still got beef juice all over my backseat, and I mean all over. It soaked through the seat into the carpet below and from there down onto the carpet by where you put your feet. I carpet shampooed the whole thing but it did not help because it soaked all the way through into the seat cushion foam. You should not need a pickup truck to pick up some italian beef for a party. A car detailing business quoted me at $1000 to fix the issue of my car smelling like rotten beef because apparently the meat proteins latch into the seat cushion foam and is a several day process of repeatedly power washing the seats and needing to remove all the seats, including the front ones and the console in order to remove the carpet. I have called several times to try to complain and see if they are interested in making this right, but they keep saying I need to talk to Karyn and saying she will call me back but she never does. They could have wrapped the tin containers in saran wrap and then covered them like so many places do, or just maybe not fill them up as much as they possibly can. They could have even said ahead of time to bring a big plastic tote to put the containers in to catch the juice. There are many things they could have done differently and better. I much rather would have had more containers that were less filled. This place is...
