Piggly Wiggly — Local services in Kenosha

Disappointing! I went out of my way based on their ad for the week of 5/12-5/18 for PigPoints (PP) for gas discounts. They advertized 5100 PP for Filippo Extra Virgin Olive Oil 16.9oz bottle. Their shelf pricing was wrong and the PP did not come up. The check out & service counter ladies were apologetic and very professional. They explained it was a corporate issue and all they could do was to fax a report to corporate to correct the problem. Interestingly, though they said corporate's phone lines were down. (I wonder how they "faxed" then). I wanted to get gas today early as it is the day they raise prices later. With the Blighten administration's incompetence and raising gas prices, as a retired senior on a fixed income I try to be frugal with my gas purchases. Thus when and IF this is corrected prices will already be up. Not blaming the staff at this store, however, this is not the first time the sales ad does not match what is in the store. For example, no Jennie-O Turkey Ham at this location, "He doesn't carry it, sorry go to another location," was the reason given. It seems to me that this is another example of the growing trend of corporate clumsiness as the generations who were taught the Trivium & Quadrivium are replaced by those taught the diluted Outcome Based...

Never in my life have i ever been disrepected, the manager Michelle, or Melissa forgot which name it was, came over and treated me like straight dirt off the ground because I forgot my wallet and needed to put things back since they wouldn't take a card over the phone. If it wasn't so over priced I would have had enough cash to get everything I had in another place. It was already embarrassing enough that i had to put food back because i ran out of the door with my child and completely forgot my purse, but i hope she doesn't treat all people like that who only have a certain amount of money and need to put food back, which I'm sure happens alot. I really like the location of the Piggly Wiggly but unfortunately the store is not my mainstream location due to not being able to find the variety of things that I want. You may find that a lot of the mainstream brands that you are used to are not available and not always all the products you seek are available at this location. To that end though, it may be your favorite store if you encounter specialty products here that you can only find here. The store associates have always been pleasant and I have always had good experience with the people being helpful.
