Dunkin' — Restaurant in Kensington

Honestly I just happened to stop here one morning mostly for convenience store items after routinely driving by for the last year assuming it was one of the Self Serve Quick Stop Dunkin set ups. I must say that I was impressed. The employees aren’t super chatty (AND THANK GOD FOR THAT!) because they’re getting your order right the first time and getting you back out into rush hour traffic as quickly as possible. I also noticed that they absolutely know their regular customers and in a very short time stopped asking me if I’d like sugar in my iced coffee since the answer is always no. “With cream and whip cream on top, right?” Only daily coffee drinkers will understand how this warms your heart. I have to say the only thing that makes me sad is this location doesn’t have a drive thru. This is the reason they don’t see me often but there are a total of 3 in a 2 mile radius and this is the only one I go to within...

This morning I placed my order via the app, xl white mocha hot chocolate and breakfast sandwich. I arrive led and my order wasn’t ready yet as the person behind the counter was running a one man show. There are either 3 people behind the counter moving at a snails pace or one person trying there best. Once I received my order I made it work to drink what I thought was my hot chocolate turned out to be coffee and I hate coffee. I was very disappointed. Every time I’ve arrived to this location my order is never ready and I put my order in before I leave the house giving them a good 10 or so minutes even for the simplest orders. This Dunkin’ has definitely gone down hill.

Very packed (understandable) and only 2 people working. Fairly fast service but they don't greet you or even acknowledge that you're there aside from taking your order (without any kind of greeting) and then yelling your name/number when your order is ready. They always make my order correctly and get it out quickly, so I can't really complain about much other than the fact that they hardly even look at customers. The inside isn't a very comfortable area to eat, I always order on the app for pick up and try not to be inside too long. I'm not sure why it feels so uncomfortable to me, maybe the fung shui lol.
