Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Kentwood

Way too many inconsistencies. Don’t pass out free drink coupons to loyal customers as a thank you and then not have any of the employees knowing what to do or give out. I got a large energy infusion the first few times with no issues and I had multiple coupons. On my 5th visit I was told after receiving 4 large drinks in a row, that the coupon was only for a small when it didn’t even specify and I had been getting a large all this time. They made the large and instead of just allowing me to have it and not waste even more, I left without a drink at all refusing to accept a small after one was already made for me. On my most recent visit, there was a long hair inside my cinnamon bun sticking halfway out. I was treated like it was my fault when they saw me pull the bun out of the bag and show them the second I noticed. There also was no ice in my drinks, after telling them to please add ice, I was then told “it melted” so in the 30secs that we drove to the front after ordering, ALL the ice melted? Plus they didn’t even give my son his Leprechaun shake, gave him a Lemon-berry drink instead but he at least didn’t seem to care. I love scooters but the customer service is horrible and the drinks, at least the energy infusions are way over priced. Also doesn’t make sense when I order a medium for $6.15 but the total comes to $7 something? Seems like a lot of businesses only care about making profit meanwhile they will throw away items instead of giving that extra few bucks worth of product to a customer. Yeah, makes...

Man when I tell you customer service and common sense is just not around anymore. I ordered a dark roast coffee with coconut milk and a shot of white chocolate. Every time I come, I get the same thing. Today though. I'm stupid and the person questions if I am ordering correctly. If that's what I asked for then that's what I want. I'm an idiot cause why don't I want the latte. Are you sure you don't want the latte? If I wanted the latte, I would ordered a latte. But wait there's more. They scan the app and tell me it's not working. However, I thought I changed my default card and I guess I didn't. Because it charged the card that was locked. And I get a notification telling me so from Capitol One. "Scooter's attempted to charge your card but it's locked so it was declined." Oh no I'm stupid again because now I guess the manager wants to argue with me about whether I got this notification or not. When I spoke she immediately cut me off to continue to tell me the app isn't working. I try to speak to inform her of what is actually going on and she doesn't wanna hear it. She's right and I'm wrong. LISTEN TO UNDERSTAND NOT TO RESPOND! Foreign concept. Used to be my go to spot for coffee before my route. I'm good. I am on a low sugar diet! I usually go to the “other guys” because… well they are closer to my business. Soooo.. I did a drive by because frankly I was to lazy to turn around and go the other way and just wanted to get home. Usually I see that sweet creamy Caramelicious drink in the sign. (Nevermind the awesome name) I pulled in to find out by the barista named Bean that Scooters had sugar free, oat, almond or coconut milk, vanilla caramel hazelnut, and mocha flavors, with the nerve of hot cold or blended and cold foam brew!!! I am in a forever shock!! Let’s just say this is my new joint and it is so delicious at only 100 calories. My customer service was amazing. It was a good price point and value and delicious. I want to end on a positive note. I will POSITIVELY stop by Scooters on my way to work!!!! Thank you for making my coffee, low carb, low calorie, dreams come true! Your barista staffer “Bean” was super impressive and patient.
