As a former employee of this location I am a little biased. FAQ
-Is there seating?- Proximity to Calvin College makes this a hotspot during the semesters. There is a modest cafe with seating for around 35-45 depending on season, with outdoor available only during days on warm months.
-Which Store are you?- We're on the NW corner of East Beltline Ave and 28th St. In the strip mall.
-How do I get to your location?- Two ways in. The Old Chicago driveway wraps around to East Beltline drivway.
-Parking- Is shared in the strip and with Old Chicago. Slight walk possible.
-Can I get out onto E. Beltline/28th?- Either entryway works, however the Woodland Mall Drive service road surrounding the Woodland Mall will give you access to intersections with stoplights on both roads. Simply wrap along to the front of the Ramada adjacent to Old Chicago and use one of the Ramada driveways to turn right onto Mall Dr. and drive toward the Theatre sign. Right takes you to East beltline, and left to 28th.
-Can I use a starbucks card here?- It is a corporate store, so all starbucks cards and apps work.
-Do you have Clover/Deli Boxes/Fresh Market items- At the time of writing (Nov. 2015) This location is not in a Fresh Market reigon, nor does it feature Starbucks Reserve/Clover. Pour over/French Press, pastries, and sandwiches...
Read moreGreat customer service/super friendly and VERY quick especially in comparison to other nearby/local stand alones! Best location (besides my home store which is the Metro Health Location) I think Alpine and M6 locations need to be trained or do a several days onsite training either at the this (East beltline) or Metro locations to see how customers should be treated and to show what production/speed of Service SHOULD LOOK LIKE because they are both leaps n bounds behind these two stores! Keep up the amazing work E.beltline and Metro Locations trust me even though sometimes it may seem or feel that you aren't appreciated or that your service doesn't truly matter because it's not always appreciated....I get it but believe me IT DOES NOT GO UNNOTICED! Hence why both of these stores blow the rest of the locations out of the water in sales and still have the BEST Employees and the BEST SERVICE/CLEANLINESS N FAST SERVICE EVEN WITH HIGHER VOLUME THEN OTHER LOCATIONS (Honorable mention is also the Burton...
Read moreLet me just preface this with the fact that I've stopped by this Starbucks multiple times this week and every other interaction has been in the range of a 4-5 â's. With that being said, Brad needs to be retrained, he doesn't listen (I had to repeat what had otherwise been said clearly as did the customer before I interacted with him), and he's needlessly argumentative. I understand your store was busy on a Sunday, which shouldn't be a shock to the employees nor leave them feeling overwhelmed, but this was not just Brad but the entire team since the woman that took my order didn't even bother to get my name, a first at a Starbucks. I would advise that some of the staff that has been present during the weekdays, when the store seems to function properly, work on the weekends because today your store was a...
