Cook Out — Restaurant in Kernersville

Very disappointed with this location. Once Cesar (The Previous GM) left this location, it has unfortunately went down hill. The only reason I even know him, is because he previously introduced himself to my family and I years ago. Come to find out less than a year ago I was sadly informed he no longer with the company by one of the staff members. I really hate to say it, but the Management-Team at the Wendover location could show this new GM and the staff a thing or two. The Cashier at the register tonight informed me two cups of Quesadilla Sauce was almost two dollars... I'm a REGULAR Customer at this location and I know it's around a dollar and some change everytime I come. Take in mind I eat at the Wendover location and this location multiple times a week. The Cashier at the Kernersville Establishment then failed to answer my question as to why the price had DOUBLED by IGNORING my question after I respectfully and repeatedly asked him twice as to why the price had fluctuated to almost double. He even looked me straight in my eyes, and constantly repeated the total of what the sauces came out to be and wouldn't answer my question. He then refused to give me my receipt for the sauce becuase quote "Da computer don't let me print off late receipts, bruh." The only thing consistent thing about this location is the inconsistency. Not to mention 50% of the time I have to put the Quesadillas in my Toaster Ovens at home, because they don't even heat them up half the time. 50% of the time it taste like the Quesadillas were put in a microwave for 10 seconds. Just enought to make the meat luke-warm and just enough to make the Quesadilla wrap nice and soggy/wet. I keep coming back in the hopes they get my order right like they do ever oh so offend. My family and I have done business with this location ever since it replaced the former Libby-Hills Seafood Restaurant that was previously there before them years ago, and they've done nothing but drop the ball here recently. So disappointing for a place the could potentially have the best combo at the best price in the town of Kernersville. Oh, and I almost forgot... The 2 dollar cups of Quesadilla Sacue were 1/4 full.... The Wendover location always puts a generous amount and never comes off rude/disrespectful like the gentleman working register did tonight. Beyond let down and I can promise I will be taking my late-night business to...

I went to Cook Out tonight after work for a quick meal. When we ordered, the woman taking our order had to ask a bunch of questions about our order because she clearly did not understand (possible speaker issues?) When we got it, we were missing a BBQ Chicken Sandwich. I understand that their lobby is closed due to COVID but I was just trying to let them know that I was missing something that I clearly paid for. When I walked in, they were very rude when they told me that their lobby was closed. I told them that I understand that, but I was missing a sandwich that I paid for. While I stood awkwardly at the doors, a man walked up to me, gave me my sandwich and I left with the doors being rudely locked behind me. When I got home, I took out the regular cheeseburger I ordered, they gave me a cheeseburger all with way which is not what I ordered. The bun was extremely soggy and practically falling apart, it had slaw, chili, onions etc. the patty and cheese were barely on the bun and I only had about 4 hush puppies. (Not to mention, they were not busy at all!) They food should not have been thrown together like it was. I was so disappointed and grossed out that I threw it away and was forced to have some french fries and about 4 hush puppies for dinner. My other order was just down right nasty. Boy oh boy, so today I went to cookout before lunch , I bought my friend and my self 2 trays. One chicken tray and the other being mine was the chicken quesadilla tray with nuggets and a extra chicken quesadilla as my side. Drive off , open my chicken quesadilla and rip it in half so happy that it’s nice and warm ready to eat ... I see what looks like a pice of cheese just hanging but I looked closer it’s a long piece of straight hair melted in the cheese in the god given quesadilla. Couldn’t go back because I was on the way to work I called the store and was told It would get redone or refunded later on in the day if I could come by. So I wait til I get off work and head that way. I walk inside this time get my order finally head home to yet another DANG hair in my quesadilla and this time it was a curly hair and small , I almost didn’t see it . It pisses me off that you some how manage to do that TWICE IN ONE DAY ON BOTH ORDERS . That’s just nasty , and I just don’t understand how that happens. If I were anyone else I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHECKING YOUR FOOD BEFORE EATING IT . Smh . Cookout is great up until you actually look at your food...
