My husband and two children were greeted coming in but the lady at counter seemed irritated. We were followed the whole time and asked if we had any questions several times as the staff followed us around. This was our first time in the store and stated no we are just looking around when she first asked. I had a shirt in my had to purchase, even tried it on, I then again was asked did I have any questions about that. Well it's a shirt. Not many questions to ask. I politely said no. I decided to put the shirt back and we left. As we put our kids in the car we were starred at by the same lady the followed us around. I don't know if it's because of how we looked or she genuinely thought we were taking something from her store. The items were pretty. Several things would have looked great in our newly purchased home or would have been a great gift for my birthday. The reason we came into the store. I did not feel welcome. I felt like they wanted us out as soon as we entered the store. Our kids were were well behaved. Too young to be interested in the items in the store. We were polite not sure why we were treated like criminals. Maybe shouldn't have came in leggings? Maybe because we are a interracial couple with biracial kids? Maybe should have took out all our cash, debt and credit cards to prove we had money to shop there? We won't be returning and will encourage our family and friends to...
Read moreLove Accent Prone and everyone employed there. From the owners, to the designers, and even the loading guys, all are so helpful and will go out of their way to serve (not sell) you. I have shopped with them for several years and can’t imagine Kernersville, or my home, without them. Justin and Cheri are truly sweet, generous, LOVING and lovely people who have created a wonderfully positive culture within their company that extends far and wide beyond the walls of their store. I have to say I am completely baffled at the negative reviews, and while I cannot speak to the experiences of those reviewers, I can with 100% certainty say that in this life we tend to find that which we seek. Nothing and no one is perfect, and whatever your experience with Accent Prone, these are people committed to their customers and take your needs seriously. I am absolutely not an interiors inclined person, I find it quite stressful, and I’m here to give my most sincere thanks and appreciation for all the design advice and direction from Accent Prone over the years....
Read moreOne star is too good and judging by some of the reviews my experience and decision to leave is fairly common. I'm reasonably certain the condescending a** I just left at the warehouse is the owner. I've dealt with him on 2 other unpleasant occasions so I should have known the 3rd would be the charm. I was asking the price of 2 flower stems and merely said that it was a little more than I wanted to spend. Before I could actually decide he made it quite clear, while walking away, that "he could easily sell them to the hundreds of people who come there and spend thousands." I told him then perhaps he should do that and left. For all he knew I was one of those people he spoke of so arrogantly and would have if not for his uncalled for rudeness! I've been a business owner and was nearly stunned by his attitude. He needs a personality transplant or at least a pill for it. You can kiss me and anyone else I...
