Osaka Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in North Carolina

i placed a takeout order a little before they closed on sunday night. i ordered an osaka special and i spent about $25 for my plate , by the time i got home and began to eat my food i found a long brown straight hair in my dish as well as big raw onions. my hair is black and curly so i knew it was not mine. i tried to call back that same night but they were already closed so i called again on monday to complain not realizing they are closed on mondays as well . i called again tuesday and spoke to some lady that said i couldn’t get a refund if i didn’t bring the plate which would’ve been 3 DAY OLD 🤬 and had already been tossed. she refused to remake the plate i spent 25$ on, give me a refund or even a partial refund. im highly disappointed with the customer service. they’re never really friendly but i always get my hibachi from here since it’s pretty affordable and ok tasting besides the big raw onions i get everytime. i was a loyal customer and always tipped but i will NOT spend my money here AGAIN...

New review as of Dec 1st 2022: Not gonna lie very disappointed in the yakisoba we got today. If anything the price has increased which I understand due to inflation. But dang the noodles aren’t even real yakisoba noodles anymore. Taste and texture just like regular spaghetti noodles without the yakisoba flavor. I might be white , but I know what flavor is. And this had zero. Gonna have to rethink coming here next time until they fix this. :( see photo of the spaghetti noodle. Osaka you hurt my feelings with these noodles :( and for that I must take my five star review and turn it to 2 star until this has been fixed.

Not sure why we waited to come try this place, have seen it and just forget. But tonight we finally did and it was memorable and worth going to! The staff was very friendly, took our order and make it where you can see it! The place was clean overall and they have a nice set up. We enjoyed sitting here while they cooked the food and after it came out. We both found it was very flavorful and the steak was cooked to order as well! We personally have eaten at Kimono many times and this place is much better! We will definitely be back for sure! The meat was cooked right, food had flavor, veggies were fresh and even the onions were excellent! The white sauce was good and didn’t have any odd flavor to it like most places do.
