Firehouse Subs Main Street — Restaurant in Kernersville

Thank you to Keith for turning a frustrating experience into an amazing experience. I placed an order online (which I have done several times at the Kernersville store) and the mobile website was being extremely glitchy. My order somehow was sent to the Westover Terrace location in Greensboro. Considering I live in Kernersville, driving 30+ minutes to the Westover Terrace location of Firehouse Subs was out of the question, especially with a toddler in tow (read: inconvenient + soggy subs). I called Westover Terrace and they said there was nothing they could do for me since the subs had already been made and they wouldn't be able to offer me a refund. I then called the Kernersville store and spoke to the manager, Keith. Not only did he call the Westover Terrace store to see if he could help, but when they still refused to give me a refund, Keith decided that he was going to make my order at the Kernersville store and comp it for me. In a world where customer service seems to be continuously going downhill, Keith proved that good customer service still exists. I'm incredibly grateful for Keith's kindness and willingness to help. My family and I will continue to be customers at this location, not only because of the superb customer service we received, but also because the food is consistently fresh tasting and delicious....

This was a very disappointing experience. I ordered here because I had lunch at the Firehouse in Asheboro yesterday and had a great experience. Today I ordered in Kernersville thinking it would be the same, but it certainly is not. I ordered curbside because I have a sprained ankle. They do not do curbside in this location even though they advertise they do. I couldn't get through on the phone (it was busy for a very long time) and no one ever came out to check on the designated parking spots, so I hobbled into the location. When I got back to work with food in hand, I found out that they also did not put half this add ons I ordered (on the app, so it's right in front of them in black and white) on either my sandwich or salad. No carmelized onions, no pickles. They did put anything extra on that I ordered except for mushrooms and mozzarella cheese on the salad and that was it. I would not go to this...

I’ll never come back to this place. I placed an Uber Eats order a little before 8:30 pm. Uber Eats didn’t show that no one was in the area. My Uber Eats driver showed up 4 minutes after closing and notified me that they were closed and no one was coming to the door. I called up there and asked if they had received my order, the young lady put the manager on the phone and that woman was RUDE! Stating they never received the order...ok, that’s fine, I get it...stuff happens, but you don’t have to be rude to customers. The first thing she said was WE ARE CLOSED! Ok, don’t get a loud tone with me and let me ask the question ma’am. This place has always been slow with their orders and not very friendly when entering the establishment, but the foods good.
