Social Habit — Restaurant in Kernersville

I’ve been coming to this place for about a year and I absolutely love it. I come with a bunch of my friends who are over the age of 21, unfortunately I am under the age of 21, so I am normally the DD for my friends! But this Saturday was a whole other story I went in there. I was in there for about 30 minutes and I went to the bar with one of my friends just to keep her company and I was not ordering anything and I told her that so I didn’t show them my ID and they said well if you’re under 21 you are legally not allowed to be in here after 9 o’clock And I said are you sure about that? I’ve been in here multiple times and I’ve never been told this. I just want to confirm she got the manager. The manager said that is a state law that anyone under the age of 21 cannot be in a bar after 9 o’clock. Which is strange I’ve been there multiple times after 9 o’clock, I’ve been to clubs and they just mark my hands to indicate that I was not able to drink. I said are you sure I can’t stay? I’m DD for my friends and the manager told me “no you will have to wait outside for your group. I don’t make the law”!!! Find out that is not the law as long as I am not being served alcohol or consuming alcohol, I am allowed to be in a bar! This is just poor management and they were very RUDE! This bar is supposed to be a very chill welcoming environment, and all they were were nasty...

I’ve been here twice and the last time I was here the bartender, I think her name was Hayden, was an absolute rockstar. Even when customers were rude, she handled it with a level of friendly professionalism that kept the mood elevated When she was not serving customer, she was wiping down bottles and the bar top keeping things extra tidy And when new patrons would enter if she would greet them and immediately acknowledge Their presence I absolutely love this bar because of the service that I have received. Great spot to lounge with friends or go out on an evening for cocktails with friends, loved ones or family. The fall special cocktails were a delight!
