Read moreArrived at this location a little before 2:55 and just left now at 3:48. We had Tracy B as our server. We ordered queso and 10 palm island wings. I understand that wings normally take around 20 minutes to cook, thats fine. The server comes back and asks if we're ready to order. We tell her we already did and were just waiting on our queso. She brings that out around 10 minutes later. However after 40 minutes and not being updated on how the wings were coming along or offering to get a refill I decided to ask for the food to go. I was told that it takes at least 14 minutes for wings to cook. Right, but we ordered this almost 30 minutes ago so they should be done or right on the cusp of being done. I'm not sure if it's the kitchen not having a decent staff and running very behind (even though they weren't busy) but im almost positive the waitress forgot to even put in our food. Overall not a good expirence and a waste of time. We've had her before and she normally is fairly good but today might have been a off day for her. A big thing is communicating if something did happen so we can know what to expect and not just wondering what's happening. Hopefully by the time I get home the food is good and hot and worth the 20...
Read moreWe called in a pick up order. They say they will text you when its ready. We waited about 15 minutes before leaving as it takes us about 10 minutes to get to the restaurant. We left with no text. We got to the restaurant still no text. We waited about 15 minutes in the parking lot still no text. We called and got "Oh yeah. It's ready. Um, we texted you three times." My husband went in to get the food. He came back very annoyed. The bartender was preoccupied making drinks but she was the pick-up person. He finally got the food but no chips and salsa. Its a Mexican restaurant that forgot the chips and salsa. No pleasantries, no apologies, and no chips and salsa - that makes for a one star review. Its par for the course with Elsa's non-original locations. If you really want Elsa's, you have to be willing to go to the one on Far Hills in Kettering if you want...
