Never left a negative review before for a business but I'm doing this mostly to warn others from making the mistake I made. I went here to get nachos...just wanted chicken and bean nachos and that was it. I ordered the meal and imagine my surprise when the worker scoops out 'chips' that are literally Tostito Rounds chips just like you buy at the store in bags. I wasn't expecting a 'made fresh here daily' scenario but yeah, make your own chips, they're super quick and easy and you're a mexican restaurant supposedly.
The chicken is cubed and not shredded, which just doesn't work on nachos but that's just a personal opinion. The chicken cubes were room temperature as were the beans. The cheese isn't that fancy type of super light and fluffy cheese, it's the big, heavy clunky cheese and my options were: White cheese or orange cheese. What types of cheese they were I have no idea but I know what color the cheese is.
So in summary, smaller bowl, a handful of store-bought Tostito chips, lukewarm cubed chicken and lukewarm beans covered in heavy, white chunky shredded cheese. I paid $12+ for that...worth no more than $5 on a good day. A GOOD day.
Right across the street up Dorothy, there is a real mexican restaurant where you can get nachos for less and they make the chips fresh daily and slow cook the chicken where it falls apart and your order comes with free chips and salsa.. For LESS than Hot Head. True story. I didn't know that when I went to Hot Head but now...
Read moreSo, this is normally my spot that I go to. I stopped going to Chipotle because of the service and the lack of ingredients. So I started coming here and even though I have to go in I never minded it because of the fact that they usually always have what I want and it's really good and fresh. In the store smells really clean. But today I walked in and there were two workers in there and the lot was completely empty nobody was there, nobody was there, I had went to McDonald's first which is only a few minutes away from the Hot Heads to get my kids food, and then came back to get my food and when I got there they didn't have any fajita veggies, which is really confusing considering there was two people in there and there was absolutely no traffic at all. It was completely dead. So it made me wonder what those two are doing in there or what they have been doing to where they couldn't throw a pan of veggies on to the oven within that at least that 6 Minute time frame that I went to the McDonald's and came back, the first time it happened I never said anything about it but this time because of how dead the outside and inside were and the fact that they had two employees standing there and kind of irked me a little bit so I decided to leave a review on that one. If you don't have any customers and there's nothing going on in your store you should be able to throw some...
Read moreWorst experience ever with a restaurant from this chain. The gal that was there was rude and curt as well as extremely stingy with the ingredients in the bowls. I went in to use the coupon for buy one bowl or burrito and get one free. I got two of the large bowls and the amount of ingredients/meat was the amount you would get in a small bowl! When we asked for there to be the amount for the large bowl they then charged a ridiculous price saying that it was now double the meat? One was supposed to get black beans and there was barely any in it. They charged me $14.05 for the two large bowls and said that that included using the coupon? Worst store ever! I usually go to a different location but the coupon was for this location. I get more meat or ingredients at Taco Bell!!!!!!! I should be refunded for the purchase so I can go where the are a better representative of the company. When my father and I left the gal and guy working started laughing and talking about us!! I was there 3/23/19 at 5:49 pm. Their treatment of us was inexcusable! We weren't rude, obnoxious, or disrespectful in any way. We had just left seeing my mother who is in intensive care in...
