I always order a Peppermint White a chocolate Mocha. Every single time I would leave I would take a sip and it’s always a peppermint mocha. So I have to go back in. A few times I even drove away before I realized it was a mocha and not a white chocolate. Now I take a sip before I even walk away and even still this morning it was a Mocha instead of a WCM. I even say it slowly and clearly and repeat WHITE CHOCOLATE. It gets super annoying that they don’t take the time to listen to the customer especially when you’re paying $6.25 for a coffee and if that isn’t bad enough this morning they have a middle aged man running the register who REPEATEDLY called me “Honey” even after I told him my name for my order. Men…. Do not call customers Honey. It’s disrespectful and rude. Listen to your customer when they tell you their name. Like you literally ask your customer for their name to put on their order so why do you still call them honey? Needless to say I got an espresso machine and the stuff to make my PWCM myself because I’m over going to SB for my favorite coffee and paying a premium when they just mess it up EVERY TIME. I understand everyone makes mistakes now and then but out of a dozen times going in there I’ve gotten the right coffee like 3 times and that’s only because Chris made it. She is the Starbucks employee every SB worker should strive to be. She’s amazing and the service is always ON POINT when she’s there so thank you Chris but the rest of your...
Read moreDismissed by barista after informing that my drink was incorrect-
After grocery shopping I decided to get the Brown Sugar Strato Frappuccino. It's been my go to, I've had it at 4 other Dayton area Starbucks without issue. The male barista who took my order had some difficulty locating the drink on the register but found it, rang me up, and handed me my order. Upon initial inspection of the drink, it didn't have the usual coloring. The frap was dark brown and clearly separated from the sweetened cream (the cream in strato fraps are generally layered throughout and then topped). I took a sip and quickly realized that the Barista hadn't prepared the drink correctly as the sip was just unflavored & unsweetened frozen coffee. I went back into the store and encountered a different Barista. I attempted to inform her that the drink was made incorrectly (I didn't want a refund just more sweet cream to mix into my strato). Barista "V" (I remember her name but rather not disclose) dismissed me, stating in an agitated manner "that's just the recipe." In lieu of the growing line and the baristas downplay of and indifference to my concern, I disposed of the drink and drove to the Indian ripple location. I exchanged my story with a Barista there, she chuckled and informed me that she often gets complaints about the Kroger Starbucks location. Needless to say, I'll happily make the drive to other locations...
Read moreThe Employees here are incompetent. There are only a few people who know What they’re doing, the rest may as be making mud water. If I’m going to pay 5-7$ for a drink I want it made correctly. That means knowing how many pumps of sweetener go in a grande vs a tall. Today the lady (who this far has always made everything incorrectly) forgot the sweetener, when I asked about it she said that she could add some as though the matcha latte wasn’t already supposed to come with sweetener. she thought 14 pumps would be a good amount of liquid sugar to add. Now my drink tasted ridiculously sweet but since I was already late for work because she had to remake the drink since she also forgot the lavender that I had put in when ordering. I am not returning here. I have them a few goes because of convenience in location and thinking maybe it was an off day, but they just keep messing up. If you want a decent Starbucks I suggest you go...
