Taco Bell — Restaurant in Kettering

July 31 2025 Update: I retract basically all indication of positive change in prior update I must have been in an abundantly cheerful mood or maybe 🍃 idk....(had to delete that one because this one became too long lol) because SERIOUSLY the amount of time you're going to replace living with sitting TRAPPED in this damn line almost every time you come here is just Ludacris, completely bonkers, absolutely un-ducken-real!!!! I feel like there must be a Taco master that oversees all locations off Bell within a specified area and for some unknown reason the Taco master has a deep and passionate hate for Kettering!! I don't think I've had to sit in a line that took this damn long since McDonald's first included beanie babies with the happy meal in the 90s!!! And shoot at least that was something special, you could feel the excitement in the air it was more so like a giant block party that everyone actually wanted to be at. AND it ended with all 1 million of us exiting the line with our next adopted baby of beans and all future millionaires!!!! Only thing you get leaving Taco bell is ducken gas .. but watch out later ya may get hit with a surprise! Look Taco master we the people of Kettering apologize sincerely on the behalf of whoever the duck hurt you but ya gotta let it go man! Now pleaseeeeeee do something about these unforgivable wait times....seriously, my kids miss me, the mail man just leaned through my window and handed me a post card that included pictures of my youngest child's graduation!!! Sadly he was only 12 years old when I first entered this forsaken line.....I hope they figured out something else to eat when they ultimately realized that mammas not coming back. So sorry my loves it was never with intention ....but the Taco master and his ducken cement baracade that keeps his prisoners from potential escape held me hostage with no remorse whatsoever. Please forgive mamma 🙏🏻 Another thing taco dudes ... my rewards was all Yaaaay birthday drink for you for freeeeeeee!!!! Firstly..thank you ya just too sweet! However, do have a question..why do YOU get to choose MY birthday drink lol I mean its whatever shoot I appreciate it but honestly what I'd have selected would have been cheaper for yall. And while we're on the beverage topic..I understand that this one's weird, but if you could bring back paper cups even just in 1 size ...TB Pepsi in a paper cup was my first love, my prom date, my late night serenade, my ride or die that was always guaranteed to be by my side whenever I pulled up! Until you evil cynical duckers did em off!!! Whyyyyyy just why!!! For anyone still keeping up with what has to be my most bizarre but entirely true review, if yall haven't caught on yet...I'm currently sitting in line and fully intend to continue writing until I finally leave this level of hell as an act of desperation to hold on to whatever sanity I may have left and to kinda prove a dang point as well. -older review- If you go for lunch its not bad typically but evening...hope you have some time to sit around cause ive literally done my makeup waiting in that drive through line before smh. It worked out cause i was trying to get to a party anyway so needed to get ready and needed a bite to eat BUT thats insane. I dont think ive seen any other fast food restaurant that takes quite as long as this one. And most likely youll be waited on by some who seems as miserable as you feel after waiting so long, like dang i waited an hour for this at least fake...

I had ordered my food online, a modified power bowl, with quite a few customizations because I don’t like the premade options offered, so it has always been easier and made correctly to order ahead of time on the app. We noticed how many cars were in the drive thru and were worried my food would be cold because the order was placed before the other 8 or 9 cars orders so my boyfriend went to go grab my food inside. An employee makes comments in front of my boyfriend saying “ I don’t know why they order online then come in, like it will be quicker, just go through the drive thru” and others too but that’s the just of what was said. Which is completely rude and unacceptable, I understand it’s frustrating to be super busy at work, but the app is advertised as quicker more efficient service that’s all around more convenient. If that is no longer the case that’s fine, but an employee should not be criticizing a customer who just wants dinner after a long day. Everyone there is usually lovely to us and have never had an issue like that even during a long wait. We have no issue waiting for anything and are always very polite to anyone waiting on us, but the commentary was absolutely not necessary. If you are that upset at work, short staffed or not, you should take the day off and reset. We are just there, we’re customers, we aren’t inconveniencing you, you’re literally at work, getting paid, to do the one thing we’re asking you to do. The least you can do is be polite. I will advocate all day for an employee to defend themselves against rude customers, I truly do not believe the customer is always right, but as the employee unprovoked, that was very unnecessary. To speak on my boyfriend like he’s ignorant, for doing something nice for me and picking up my food, to be spoken about in a way so publicly and right in front of him, is...

So I stopped at this Taco Bell to pick up one of their craving boxes. Things after work and once I got home and started my laundry and did the little things I needed to do about a half hour later I sat down to eat the meal and realized of the four items listed in the cravings box. I only got two. So I called the restaurant at the number listed on the receipt and spoke to the manager Corinne and explained that I only got like two items, some kind of burritos, some kind of double taco thing and a cup of cheese and she said so you didn't get whatever. One other thing I'm like well yeah and I didn't also get the chips that go along with the cheese. I only live 5 minutes away so I said hey look I'll just come and bring you what you gave me and my receipt. So I went to the drive-thru and said hey. I'm the guy with a messed up order and they told me to pull up to the window. When I pulled up to the window they told me she wants to talk to you inside. So then I went inside and I handed the manager Corinne the order they gave me and the receipt and said this is what you gave me and this is what I paid for to her credit. She had all new food made for me to her detriment. She did not apologize or offer any additional items or like. Hey, I'll throw in a free taco for you or anything like that. She just remade the food and handed it back to me. So you know one star. No, sorry for the inconvenience of you having to drive back here or anything like that just handed me the food like it should have been done the first time .It's four items in the in the item I ordered I received two two of them I had to drive back and while they did make me all fresh food, no apology was offered nor any offer of like a free taco or any kind of thing like that.
