Spanish Tapas — Restaurant in Key Largo

The food truck is called Ibericos. (We almost missed it because we didn't know the name)

Sometimes a place blows your expectations away, this is one of those times.

A small roadside food truck delivering high quality, praise worthy food. It's a 1 man operation and clearly a passion project. This guy makes all his own sauces and seasons every dish like a true chef. He said he's an engineer by day and cooks because he loves it. The love shows.

We got shrimp, a steak special, stuffed peppers, and croquets. Can't pick a favorite dish because it was all rich, flavorful, and expertly cooked!!

Eating here was an experience I wouldn't want anyone to miss. Perfect for lunch, snacks, or dinner. Expect the tapas to come out in waves. He makes each dish so it comes to you fresh.

Bonus points, the food truck shares a lot with a beautifully maintained butterfly garden. Saw some monarch catapillars and baby iguanas.

OMG! This is THE hidden gem of Key Largo! Its basically a food truck, picnic tables, and the owner is a one man operation. And what an operation. He clearly is passionate about flavors, and you enjoying his food.

Our party of 4 decided to order a bunch of assorted dishes to share. The steak, OMG, where did those flavors come from? The assorted croquets (cod was my favorite), the cheese stuffed peppers, the Shrimp, and the homemade lemonade made every bite and sip a delight. This is what a lunch or dinner in the Keys should be. Can't wait...
