Kim’s Kuban — Restaurant in Key West

Really breaks my heart to write this review but they’re leaving me no choice. Ordered food at 10:37 AM called back at 11:46 to see where the food was they said it was on the way. Waited another 45 minutes called back again for them to tell me there was no order even placed I understand things get busy but this is no way you treat customers that buy from you multiple times a week long story short had to order from somewhere else we will just be eating breakfast at 12:30 1 o’clock now even better the owner tells me to chill out when I call him on the phone what a way to treat your customers smh here’s the proof now instead of owning up to your mistake you write something like that towards a long time customer I’ll be waiting for my apology If you read the “All love and no hate” review and the comment from the restaurant, here’s proof that we did in fact call this establishment on 2/27. Not once but twice in regards to our order that was placed. The response from the restaurant was rude an unprofessional. “We think you had a long night and called the wrong establishment.” How could you assume anything about anyone you don’t know. Take responsibility for your mistake instead of bashing a long time customer. Also when I called I informed the guy that my girlfriends the one that place the order off of her phone I have no problem removing this review if you own up to your mistakes...

A hideaway Cuban restaurant for all ages where you can feel the thrill and Deliciousness.

The restaurant is a hidden treasure of Key West, making it feel a comfort place. The seats were a bit dirty, but the staff are polite.

Kim's Kuban is a next-generation Cuban restaurant where you can experience the fresh taste of freshly fished fish tacos, and the Cuban sandwich which is savory enough for a breakfast or brunch.

The small meal is made with 12 vegan sandwiches which are carefully cooked and simmered in vinegar. Delicious as sure.

On the day, I had a lot of sandwiches consumed, such as the Cuban mix sandwich. It is mixed with different vegetables and fruits.

You can customize your sandwich using a Make-Your-Own-Sandwich. You can make up to 3 or 4 layers.

I even ordered fish tacos. They were ranked the #1 popular dish in this restaurant. There are also protein-rich meals that you must like.

Pork tostones to die for. It kinda tasted like burnt meat, but it's kinda okay.

I paired my meal with steak. It was sweet and savory. The tender steak just made my mouth water.

Water is very pure and ice cold. Love...

Update. We stopped for lunch and they remembered us. ❤️ We ordered the cuban mix sandwich, cuban fritta, skirt steak bowl and guava cheesecream turnovers. Wishing there were locations close to us. Go get some food. You will thank yourself later. //// We were hoping to get dinner from here last night but they close at 5. So, we picked up breakfast this morning. Parking was a breeze and no line. As we decided what to get it got busy. We ordered a breakfast platter, egg & fritta sandwich, egg & ham sandwich, guava/creamcheese turnover and guava turn over. When I say everything, I mean everything was delicious. SO DELICIOUS that were going back to grab more food(some lunch items too) before we head out of Key West. So happy we stumbled on this location. Don't think about it. Just go. What ever you get it'll be delicious for sure. And the service is like no other you can feel the joy and the love they have for...
