Jack N Jill Donuts — Restaurant in Killeen

I’m a local who raved about this place. The prices are good, the food quality is good but I value good customer service more than anything and the way the owner and employee handled a mistake they made has caused me to not want to return. I had a busy day ahead of me so I decided pick up breakfast for my family. We had an order for four and I received my doughnuts and coffees but they forgot to hand me my kolaches after nuking them. I didn’t notice the missing food until I went home. I wasn’t going to return that day. I had a huge event to prepare for and made the decision to return the next morning instead. I had to prove my purchase the following morning which I had no problem. I was then warned that I needed to inform them the same day so that I could get compensated. I explained I had a very important personal event and missing kolaches was not top of my priority list. Didn’t think it’d be an issue returning the next day. They gave me the most blank, mundane expression. No apology or explanation for their mistake. I was made to feel like it was my fault I was never handed my food I paid for. My MIL even made the comment to the woman running house that she needed more help as she noticed she was working hard, multi tasking serving drive through and lobby. She even replied “Mhm, I say that everyday.” Says a lot about the way they run this place when employees say things like that so freely to customers. Ok so I have to tell a bit of a story. We opened a new Chip Control auto glass location in Killeen and one of my coworkers brought to work a dozen donuts from Jack and Jill. In there was a Spider-Man donut. My wife took a picture of me and later I pulled out a spider man mask I had for my YouTube channel. Well my five year old saw the pictures and was over the moon for a Spider-Man donut. I drove from Copperas Cove to Killeen just to get it and they didn’t have any made up. I tried the Good to Go app and reserved a bag for 7.57. I drove from Temple to Killeen to get there also there is road work going on near them as well, when I got there the man at the counter cancelled my reserved bag in front of me when I showed him the app and said I was there to pick up. I was shocked asked why he said he didn’t know what to tell me and walked away. I tried to talk to to the woman at the counter who also stated she didn’t know what to tell me she cannot help me and proceeded to say they cannot cancel the order only I can.
