Canyon 66 Restaurant and Lounge — Restaurant in Kingman

Just left the restaurant.... I am really surprised this restaurant has an average of a 4 star rating!!! Didn't get what we ordered, due to the fact that the new cooks did not know how to prepare the food.... and that was after we were willing to compromise on some of the ingredients in our food, for example, thin spaghetti noodles in the chicken fettuccine marsala. They didn't have the fettuccine, so I was willing to take the thin spaghetti noodles. Even at that, all I got was chicken fettuccine alfredo...with a small chicken strip on it, cut into six pieces. It was not chicken fettuccine marsala at all. The garlic bread was apparently made from Dollar Store white bread with no garlic on it at all. The waitress finally brought out a new order of the same cheapo white bread, but this time it did have garlic butter on it. The $5 dinner salad was worth $2.50, at best. We have to agree with one of the reviewers here who said that perhaps a 10 or 12 year old was in the kitchen making dinner. My husband's nachos were not good. He paid for steak, and maybe got a thumb sized piece of steak, chopped up...maybe. We had to flag down one of the two waitresses just to get refills on our drinks...the first time. The second time, our son had to up from the table and had to approach the server for a refill on a drink. Our meal came to almost $50 and was worth more like $25. We were there for 2 hours...ridiculous! This is, by far, the WORST experience we've ever had in Kingman! We. Will....

This place was the WORST..we went in the day before Father's Day. Nothing we ordered was oon the menu or they didn't have the food to make it. First of all they didnt have Tea to drink. They didn't have any of the apps on the menu, she had to read off a piece of paper what they had.. Then trying to order a meal was ridiculous.. no BLT.. no Pasta no wings.. we just had to keep going down the list..Finally ended up with crappy Caesar Salad. Then we tried to order a couple drinks.. the girl ( who was very nice) couldn't make anything.. long island iced tea, nope.. we had to go down the list of what she thought she could make. Husband ended up with a 7&7. I asked for a Martini, she said ok, but then came back and said they didn't have all the alcohol to make it. Later while we where eating those crappy salads. She said they had the alcohol now and she was going to try and make me one.. it was horrible, tasted like straight rubbing alcohol. Then when it came time to pay our bill, their computer system was down and we had to walk with the girl( who was very nice) over the the hotel area to play the bill. This was around 3pm on a Saturday, id hate to see what happens during their busy period. All and all it was 49.00... I'm shocked , we shouldn't have been charged full price for the drinks at least, they didnt even fill the glasses and my martini was so bad I couldn't even drink it. We will never go...

Answer the phone! Tried calling for a carry out order. 1st call, no answer. 2nd call Jeff answered and after I said I wanted to place an order, he hung up. 3rd call no answer. Are they that busy at 730pm on a Wednesday night?

Decided to give them a second chance the next day. Called in a carryout order. Had a drink while waiting for my food. I ordered the Canyon 66 which was very tasty. Bartender was friendly and atmosphere was nice & clean. Food came out on time but it took a while to pay my bill. When I got back to our hotel, there were no onion straws on my burger. I ordered this burger specifically for the onion straws and was quite disappointed. The burger was good but the fries were soggy and undercooked. There were only a handful of customers in the restaurant, so there is no reason for soggy fries. My husband ordered the chicken fettuccini alfredo. Good sized portion, but alfredo sauce did not taste homemade or fresh and the chicken was overcooked. I guess that's better than undercooked chicken.

Online menu is not the same as the actual menu. The person who took my order over the phone was somewhat rude while correcting me when I placed my order. She said I must have a different menu. The menu I used is on THEIR website. They need to update their page.

We will not order from there again. If the quality was that poor on a slow night, I cant imagine what it would be like on...
