I know next to nothing about Indian food and their website isn't helpful. It has some pleasant looking but unidentified pics of food. It also has menu items and prices but nothing about WHAT those items are other than a title. My friend and I both chose the same thing which was the goat curry. We both 😘 ved it! Also good value, my friend took some home. WARNING there are bones in some of the menu items. THIS IS ON PURPOSE they explained that is how the item is prepared but so far THIS REVIEW is the only warning you're gonna get. As for "service" there WASN'T any which is fine. You go in and order and yeah the guy happened to bring it to us but that's because there was no one else there at the time. There was no call back etc and the guy barely spoke English. So it's basically like Taco Bell with a tip gar. I bring all this up because they invite you to tip them. In their software during payment. (What the nice man from the processing company sold them) Had I been by myself I would have happily ignored it but since I had invited a guest I went ahead and confirmed everything they'd been told about how stupid Americans are by tipping them for no logical reason. I've maybe said some"mean" things but I'm glad I went there. They seem like nice folks and I wish them the best. If you like Indian Food or want to explore "real"Kingman (this is no tourist trap ) I hope you check...
Read moreI love Indian food! This is going to be another mixed review. I loved this place the first time because the chicken biryani was packed with so many goodies (veggies) and flavors, The spices were delicious and hot, like I love. It was a truly gorgeous meal which generally you don't say when you get to go. And it was the second and possibly the third time, but this last time it was like so sad, it seemed like I had a left over biryani from a week ago, the rice was dry, like crunchy and there were barely any veggies... I hope it was a fluke... Also I want to communicate to the owners of this restaurant that the last time I was there, I didn't get any drinks because there was a child crawling up the case and I watched the child put his mouth on some of the sodas that were in the case he was crawling on. I almost didn't order last time due to how dirty the door was. When I see a place has a dirty door it's a major turn off, and then the restaurant does not seem overly clean, it does not instill confidence in what's happening in the kitchen. I also cannot deal with the buffer at all, it has no cover, and it's a low table, so people are hovering over food they are getting. I mean I really don't do buffets, but this one more problematic than the average. So if you are brave and have an iron stomach, it's great...
Read moreThis was our first visit. It’s very small. Only about four tables inside with extra seating in an enclosed porch at the front. It seems kind of dirty, but on closer look, it’s really just worn. We got the buffet because we thought there would be a big variety of main dishes. We aren’t familiar with Indian food and wanted to try some different things, but the only choices were butter chicken and Tandori chicken. Couple different rices, samosas and naan (which they bring to the table). They also had some crispy taco looking things. The tandori chicken was a little spicy for me (but tasty), the butter chicken was really good and the rice was good. The naan appeared freshly made and was delish. I’ve been told most of their business is takeout, and they have a much more extensive menu to choose from. If we choose this place again, I’ll likely get takeout. Unfortunately, because the butter chicken was so good, I’ll probably...
