I’m only giving them two stars because the service was friendly, and quick. And the price is pretty cheap for the amount of food you get. But they get a low rating because I found a piece of cloth or napkin or something of the sort mixed into my orange chicken and it absolutely grossed me out! I wish I had pictures, but I quickly threw it away.
The place is tucked in the corner of the plaza, with plenty of parking. It’s not really a place where people sit down and dine-in, as there are only like three tables. It’s definitely a to-go spot, where most customers call in to order then come pick it up.
I walked in and was greeted right away by the friendly staff who told me to take a look at the menu. I decided on a large beef & broccoli, the dinner combo with fried rice, orange chicken, and an egg roll, as well as crab wontons.
The order came out pretty quick (maybe 15 minutes). They have napkins, utensils and sauces, and wonton strips displayed on the side counter for you to grab as much as you need on your way out.
The crab wontons were the best part and cooked perfectly. They tasted great. The fried rice was just okay, and the orange chicken tasted good. I thought it was fresh, but after taking several bites, I see this gray flake in my food and take it out to inspect. I rip it, and see small fibers, so I assume it was a napkin or cloth of some kind. Either way, it grossed me out and I couldn’t eat anymore, because why is it deep in my food.
It’s unfortunate because I was hoping this would be a good spot for quick Chinese to-go, but I honestly may never return. Try at...
Read moreCalled in a order to pickup the other evening.. I' go thru here often heading home to NC.. this is definitely a place to avoid..the young lady who took my order was very nice on the phone and she was just as nice in person..which is why I'm shocked at the food we ordered.. ordered 2 orders of orange chicken and fried rice, egg rolls and egg drop wonton soup.. paid over 30 dollar's for food that was inedible.. the orange chicken looked so tasty from appearance's..then we tried biting into it... All of them were burnt pieces of chicken?? Grey to blackish colored meat.. the fried rice had a weird aftertaste..like it had soured then was fried. The egg roll was a mooshy egg roll that was filled with what looked and tasted like canned chicken chow mein..yes that sounds odd but it's all true and those who wrote such great reviews.. ??? What are they eating, I wish that I could have had the same experience.. I in sincere honesty couldn't recommend trying this food even if we were the" had a bad day patrons".. for consistency goes a long way.. I should had returned every nasty item back..but going into hospital for tests I was exhausted and didn't have the energy to complain in person..but I will say this...there is no way you could not had known how bad that was ... Shame on You!..I wouldn't recommend going here for nothing ( even the fortune...
Read moreThe eggroll was amazing, though we ordered two and only received one so we had to split it. But it was good. The rice was probably better than other places in town. The main courses though were about the same as anywhere else. About. I do prefer the orange chicken next to publix, though, but it was still good. The chicken teriyaki sticks were probably the most different, and not different in a good way. That's probably the only thing that wasn't good though. The one next to publix does those amazing. We won't order those again from here. But it's not out of the question for a quick chinese stop, just that one thing really. Again too, the eggrolls were great! Didnt need any soy sauce even, great...
