The ice cream here is absolutely delicious but the service is WAY below stellar. We go here quite often and every time we walk in, no matter how many people are in there, there is NEVER an acknowledgment to welcome us into the establishment even tho the staff does look up and make complete eye contact with you. It’s the worse service I’ve ever experienced. No hello, no I’ll be with you in a minute, and they don’t care about taking their time to get your order either. There was one girl in front of me and one lady that walked in behind me. Not busy whatsoever. A perfect opportunity to give A+ service, however there was no hello to me nor to the lady behind me either. Probably no hello or acknowledgement to the girl in front of me. There were 4 employees working and after someone stepped up to finally take the girl in front of me order, quite rude to her I might add, all while the other three employees scattered to the back until the girl in front of me was completely paid & done, then did an employee asked me what I wanted. After telling them my order, and scooping my ice cream into a cup, the employee sets my cup down, grabs a receipt from the counter and slips to the back leaving my ice cream sitting there and me standing there with no explanation whatsoever. All this happening and STILL no one has acknowledged the lady that walked in behind me. When the employee finally returns to finish my order, they scoop at least 5-6 scoops of the 4 mix-ins I requested. Way too many mix-ins for sure. I ordered a regular size and it was more like an extra large in a tiny cup. I walked out of there with ice cream dripping out the sides of my cup and was an absolute mess by the time I got to my car. I took two bites and promptly threw the rest away. Like I said WAY TOO MANY mix-ins. It was only after I paid, that the same employee that took my order proceeded to ask the lady behind me what she wanted, asking in a fashion like I got asked and the girl in front of me got asked……….like it was a real inconvenience to help any of us with our orders. Again, same employee while two other employees were doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN THE BACK ROOM. The third employee not helping people, to her only credit was cleaning out some issue under the mix-in counter. Guess THAT was more important that taking care of the people who pay the rent and lights for the establishment. I’ve been going to MSC now for about three years and come to think of it, the employees have NEVER been very friendly. It’s sad because it’s such a great place to get a treat now and again. Hopefully the owner will see this post and either train her employees in customer relations or fire them all and hire employees that are more mature, responsible and friendly since that is what it takes to deal with the general public in customer service. Read moreMy wife and I came in on a date and there was a line. This was our first time coming in and took that as a good sign with them being busy. We had a young blonde girl who looked highly irritated she had to help anyone. We also had the sweetest girl with dark curly hair that was very attentive. She asked what we needed. The girl who looked annoyed asked me what she could get me, and as I was telling her she huffed off and started helping the man behind me. Then when she was done with him she tried to ring my wife up and my wife was like ummm she’s with me, and she just looked at me. I told the girl you started to help me and then just stopped in the middle of me telling you what I wanted. The whole time she put my order together it was like the most painful thing anyone had ever asked her to do. She was so rude, my order was thrown together, not mixed up and just had a horrible attitude the whole time. The girl with curly hair that made my wife’s order mixed hers so well, asked her what else she could get her, she definitely had customer service. Read moreI have been going to marble slab for years not only for the best Ice cream treats but for their well known customer service. I went on (3/02/2025) to get what I always get, a small strawberry milkshake. The woman serving us yelled out very rudely “JEEZ!!!” In front of us and other customers, throwing her hands up in the air as if it is a burden to make a simple milkshake. She also was “huffing and puffing” because it was such a burden and big deal to make a customer a milkshake. She slammed the lid of the blender down on the counter very loud in front of all customers. Then very hateful asked what size. We decided to ignore her and leave to prevent any further escalation. This is embarrassing. I hope her attitude changes and she gets a reality check. After the incident, The owner emailed me and took care of the situation. She was very kind and made up for the incident. She gave us 2 free items of choice and deeply apologized for the inconvenience.
